I used this replacement battery in a 30 GB Creative Zen Vision M. I ran into 2 issues:Issue #1: The battery is slightly bigger than the original battery (approx. 1/8” longer and a little thicker), so it was tough getting it to fit in the case. I think I was only able to get it to fit because I swapped the hard drive for a CF to ZIF converter and SD card and was able to squeeze the battery control board (see issue #2) into an open space under the CF to ZIF converter. I had to remove the lower rubber hard drive bumper to route the wires from the battery control board to the battery terminals. Like another reviewer says, the battery is a little thicker than the original, so I had to remove the rubber bumpers from the headphone jack and the hard drive connector. I was shocked that I was able to close the case. I do not plan to open it again because of this tight fit.Issue #2: I had to replace the battery control board on the new battery with the one from the old battery. The new battery would not charge by connecting it to the player out of the box. I snipped the battery control board off the new battery, desoldered the battery control board from the old battery, and taped the new battery to wires soldered to the old battery control board. Because of issue #1, I had to place the battery control board in an open space under the CF Card to ZIF converter board.Four stars because the battery works and I was able to get it to fit. It would be five stars if it was just plug and play.
