The battery did Not have a surface charge so when i turned the ipod on it said very low battery.I charged it overnight with the same result .The tools looked nice but missing one pick.I will be returning it to amazon and buy another brand

Difficult to remove the iPod cover; battery itself is fine but peopleshould know how hard it is to remove cover. Asked at Apple Genius Bar: it was never meant to be removed. Looks easy online (YouTube) but is not

The battery on my iPod video 5th generation needed to be replaced. I would have to keep it either connected or use it only for a few minutes before having to connect it again. This replacement battery worked perfect for my iPod as it now holds good charge and I can use it again. Replacing it was a bit of a challenge but nothing that watching a YouTube video on how to replace it couldn't solve. I would highly recommend this as a battery replacement for your iPod.
