I have just repaired two, slightly different, projectors and in my opinion, this, cheaper kit with the cotter pin (lock pin) works just fine. From what I can tell, both of the kits can be used to repair the same models so save some money and, I think, effort and use the kit with the cotter pin. Another piece of advice, pay close attention to which screws go where when you are taking them out. There are several different types and the instruction videos aren't a lot of help when you start putting things back together.

These projector parts did fix my 45 year old kodak projector that was not advancing and also replaced the focusing parts. However, while the youtube videos show how to do the replacement work in 15-20 minutes, this job is no job for the less than focused DIYer. It took me close to 3 hours working from time to time to dig into the machine and replace the parts with more than a handful of tools. But, it now works for another several years.
