The packaging for this system is excellent, ensuring everything arrives in perfect condition. The cameras are larger than I anticipated and are straightforward to mount. You can choose to wire them or use them wirelessly with Wi-Fi 6, supporting both 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz bands. I recommend using 5 GHz for better video streaming if the DVR is within range. The DVR includes two Ethernet cables, antennas, a mouse, and an HDMI cable, so you just need to connect it to any monitor to get started. The cameras feature auto zoom and 360-degree swivel capability, which is a significant upgrade over stationary cameras. Although it's a bit pricey, the quality and features make it worth the investment.

REOLINK 4K PTZ Wi-Fi 6 Cam System with Auto-Zoom Tracking, 6X Hybrid Zoom Has excellent instructions and if you follow it will be simple set up. Everything I needed was in this kit. Everything works perfectly just as I was expecting. Now I am not technically savvy, however I know how to follow directions and I couldn’t we got this great kit up and running without a snag. It’s two senior citizens that can run a computer and tv and phones and that’s the extent of our tech knowledge. For us to get this all up without a hitch was joyful for us ! Cameras work so nice and clear and even night vision is superb. I may not be speaking tech talk but we are so very pleased with this whole kit. I was going to call a younger relative with experience in security systems come set it up, but we waited until we seen what all we had to do. We did it ourselves. This Reolink cam sets gets 5 stars plus easily !! It’s well made, cams are clear and set up was amazing to us elders. Give this a look. Ps. My son had told me while back when I told him what I was wanting he recommended REOLINK for ease of use and reliability !! He is correct !!

*CAUTION* Set up the NVR first before installing the cameras. The cameras must be connected by ethernet to the NVR first before WiFi can be enabled (I made the mistake of mounting my cameras first. Had to go buy a 50-foot ethernet cable to finish the job). I believe this step must take place in order for the WiFi cameras to connect to your NVR and no one else, like a neighbor.Installation of the cameras is easy and straightforward. I do recommend a 6-inch philip head bit. They cameras are very large and not inconspicuous. Physical set up of the NVR is straightforward as well, however, setting up the software could have been more intuitive. Also, this does not come with comprehensive instructions, just a quick start guide. For more detailed instructions, you’ll have to download the app or visit their website. The NVR is compact (attached is a photo of RIO LINKs NVR atop my Lorex DVR to show the size difference).CAPABILITIESA quick disclaimer, I use a professional surveillance system in the course of my work so I may be a bit biased.Video/picture quality is just ok. This system is not a true PTZ (pan/tilt/zoom). When zooming, the image becomes pixelated meaning it’s not a true zoom, just a marketing gimmick. A true zoom is when the image stays in focus and is still defined no matter how far the camera zooms in. The cameras do pan (almost 360 degrees) and tilt, however, tilting up his limited to the camera’s horizon. One thing I do hate about this system is you cannot use the pan and zoom options at the same time (lame). Night mode is an interesting feature but annoying, so I ended up disabling it. Basically, by default, in low light, the camera’s infrared (IR) lights turn on. This gives a black and white image to your screen. When the camera detects motion, it will switch from IR and turn on the ‘spotlights’ which are just magnified LEDs. This enables color to be detected. However, I noticed the spotlights were flashing every vehicle that went by! The good news is you can disable the feature specifically for vehicles.Audio is pretty decent as far as being able to pick up sounds at long distances (maybe even as far as 200 feet). The audio does have a fatal flaw: poor wind screen. I could constantly hear the wind blowing into the microphone, so I disabled the audio. There are many, many more features, however, this review is already way too long. Some final things: power cables are only 25 feet (and IMO way too short, should be a minimum of 50). The app doesn’t allow to PTZ the cameras which leaves me wondering, what in the heck is the point of WiFi cameras when the camera is tethered to an outlet and the PTZ cannot be controlled remotely. At this point, why not just hard wire the whole system? A hardwired system is more reliable.Overall, this camera system has many features (including zero subscriptions), comes with two cameras that will cover a lot of distance and angles, but I am not sure it’s worth the price.

The cameras tend to go offline and need to reboot. Then has double image on screen like zoomed in. Kinda quirky and not very intuitive. But overall works most of the time - just not perfect so cannot give 5 stars.

This system is super easy to use and set up straight from the box, however, it only comes with a quickset guide. I highly recommend installing the app, setting up the NVR and hooking the camaras up to the NVR/app before hanging/installing them! You need to hook the NVR to the router via included Ethernet cable then power on the Camara also connecting it to the router via the Ethernet cables. hanging them first was a mistake on my part. However I do thoroughly enjoy this Camara set up! Quality pictures and sound, so many great features. I like the motion sensor that can actually differentiate animals/humans/vehicle, the night vision is also very useful.

Upon receiving these cameras and checking them out up close, I can say that they are physically big. The setup is fairly straightforward and the auto zoom tracking was impressive. This is a matter of personal needs/wants but I will get a few more of these cameras to fully cover my property. The two cameras are a minimum in terms of coverage even though they are each able to pan tilt and zoom.
