I ordered two E1 wifi cameras, they came very quickly. Setup with my Reolink NVR was easy, just connected them with an ethernet cable, selected sync wifi, then disconnected cable, cameras all set. What I love the most are the rotate and tilt functions. After about a month, 1 camera stopped working. Reolink support tried to help troubleshoot but quickly determined I needed a replacement. They supplied all the necessary information, I shipped the old one back, received the replacement in 2 days.I think it's unrealistic to expect 100% perfection in life, things can and will breakdown, but the support from Reolink was excellent and my problem was addressed and resolved with a minimum of time and effort. Great product, great price, great support service.

I previously purchased two of these cameras about 18 months ago and have wanted to buy a couple more. I finally did and I'm not sure why I waited. These cameras are great, easy to navigate and set up. Easy to use on the app. Good picture quality, nice user friendly features as well. I gave it a five star and would have given them a 10 star! Highly recommend, especially for the price.Mark from Michigan!

I bought two of these and both functioned for a few weeks despite being very annoying and VERY loud to set up. Why is the camera yelling instructions at me in multiple languages?!The picture quality is good, however the feature that allows you to change the camera position is one of the worst-designed controls I’ve ever experienced. It either doesn’t move at all, or moves very quickly. This means lots of tweaking just to get it to point in a slightly different direction. While I wouldn’t recommend this camera to anyone, it was at least functional until the day after the return window closed.*********Update 11/18/24***********Excellent customer service. Seller contacted me after seeing my review and offered to send me a new camera, which I accepted.I have changed my review to 3 stars to reflect the excellent customer service. A 4th and 5th star will be added if the camera angle control issue is fixed and the initial setup process is changed so that there is no yelling.

Was relatively easy to install and pair to the app on my phone. Quality is good enough for keeping an eye on the house. They offer 1 month renewable cloud storage (so you have to renew each month, but it's free so you can't beat that).Edit: Months later cloud storage no longer recognized camera and would not allow me to add it again. Months after that wifi connection keeps failing. I tried restarting camera, resetting router, hard reset of camera (only to be unable to add camera due to wifi connection failing). I noticed troubleshooting mentions wifi password cannot have special characters. Ours does and it had worked fine until then. I sent message 1 week ago through their customer support form on their website and no response.. Pretty disappointed in customer service and the fact that this camera has become useless. Very frustrating having to wait to get support (and not being able to speak to a person to resolve it immediately). Considering cameras are used for security, I'm not sure I would recommend this anymore.Edit #2: Support did contact me back and we worked through the problem. Our wifi has split 2.4 and 5ghz bands. Both are named the same thing and after an internet outage it looks like the camera was trying to connect to the 5ghz. I had to rename the 2.4 ghz and reconfigure the connection on the camera.

I have three cameras, the two in this review plus an exterior fixed position camera, also by Reolink. Of the two cameras being reviewed here, one is connected wirelessly and the other is a hard wired connection. You'd think the wired connection would be 100% reliable but it doesn't perform any better than the wireless unit. Both are worthless as security cameras. They might be ok for monitoring pets but even then connectivity is hit and miss. If you're using them to monitor babies or the elderly I would look for something more reliable. Keep in mind I'm a software engineer and work with electronics every day.Connectivity performance: HorribleThe Details:1) I have a wifi watering system (Rachio) that works very well and is mounted outside where the wifi coverage is much worse. However, it has better connectivity than both of these cameras.2) I have a Google Home sitting next to one of these cameras and it always has a wifi connection. This should eliminate my home wifi as a source of the bad connectivity.3) Sitting 5 feet away from the Google Home and one of the cameras is my wifi router. This does eliminate my wifi as a source of the connectivity issues.4) One of the cameras is wired directly to my home network along with a Linux computer and a laptop connected to the same network switch. This camera performs no better than the wifi camera!!!!Remote Control: Sporadic at bestThe Details:1) The alarm function works if and when you can connect to the camera.2) The "Push-to-talk" function never works, period.3) Remote positioning of the camera will drive you crazy because when you can connect to the camera it only works about 30% of the time and all movement is delayed by about 5 seconds. This means that you have to make small movement adjustments and then wait for 5-10 seconds to see if the camera actually moves. If you make large adjustments either the camera doesn't move or you're likely to overshoot the position you want. Also, there is no indication when you've reached the limit of movement.4) Saving and naming camera positions works about 70% of the time (again, if and when you can connect to the camera). This is the best feature to use rather than trying to remotely position the camera at will. Create and name the best positions and then use the pre-programmed positions to move the camera. This is useful when the camera is mounted in a room but the camera field of view does not cover the entire room. You can then save multiple named positions and then recall them.Setting Presets: Good luckMost of the settings could not be changed or required repeated attempts. Camera settings - none of them could be changed. Email notification scheduling - yes. Push notifications - nope. Motion detection - nope.Remote Video Monitoring:Image quality - Outstanding (when you can connect). Both day and night image quality is good.In Summary, the cameras just don't work well as security cameras if you wish to hear audio or speak through the camera, remotely control the camera position, or reliably use many of the remote control features. If you just want to remotely monitor video then they work ok for that.

It's a good device and compatible with a previous Argus Model I bought 2 years ago.The setup is the same and quite easy. However, the light in night mode needs to be constant in the room because the contrast is not good in the dark area. The quality is less good that the Argus, and the reference point was lost already twice within 1 week of usage. Not a big deal, but just to reprogram it. So far so good
