Product Description

Trackmix poe

Reolink TrackMix PoE

Dual Tracking in Dual-Lens

This 4K security camera realizes its PTZ technology through the dual-lens design. The long wide-angle lens captures a panoramic view, while the telephoto lens delivers a close-up view.

Auto Zoom while Auto Track

Focus with Almost No Latency

TrackMix PoE will track the movements of people, vehicles, and pets so as not to miss any critical events. The wide-angle lens can pan 355° & tilt 90° to track the detected objects and keep them within its field of view; The telephoto lens zooms in to the targeted object for a close-up view, which is produced by the two lenses cooperatively. Three tracking modes are supported.

Best bang for your buck when it comes to cams with a zoom lense. This zoom lense is fast and focus fast too. Dual lense is awesome! Reolink provide performance with affordability.Remember not all cams can be used in every scenario. This will do its job but most people will use it out of scope.

This camera works really well and once you figure out all the features, you can customize it to your liking. It's also ONVIF so it works with my Unifi Protect NVR (although no audio yet until Unifi creates new features).

I love the functionality of this Camera. I now have 3 of these at my residence. Great picture and many options and functions. Also while installing one of these Camera I broke the mount when I hit it with a ladder. I contacted Customer service to get a replacement mount . They were extremely punctual, even tho it was a long weekend. In the end they took care of my problem with no additional charges to me. This was a very generous offer considering I was the one who broke the mount. The customer service was quick and extremely helpful , the product is easy to use with many functions and options ! Will defiantly be buying more and adding to my system!

The PRO's upfront are it's cheap, and you get a nice autotracking PTZ camera. Low-light sensitivity is pretty good, not amazing, but pretty good and noticably compared to other cameras that do 0.001 lux, this camera has fairly LOW NOISE in the nighttime images which leads to more compressible data and less NVR storage. The auto tracking PTZ feature can be set to track first digitally or first by camera movement. I chose to track object first digitally to reduce some wear/tear on the PTZ motors and gears. I have had several other PTZ cameras fail to do worn out gears internally. The auto tracking for objects like cars, people and animals is very polished in this device. For the price, even with the cons I am very satisified already. The spotlight can be set to be off all the time, or you can have it trigger based on object motion detection, so it will beat your typical PIR/flood light detection system. The CON's:1) In BlueIris you can get 1-way audio, but you can't get 2-way audio. You have to use the ReoLink app and be liveview connected for it to work. The setup of the camera must initially be done via ReoLink app so you will need to use it anyway, and you will need the PC desktop app to manage all camera settings to make it work at all with a 3rd party NVR like BlueIris.2) (update) The PTZ position presets DO WORK! You have to set the positions using the Reolink PC app, and the trick to making the PTZ controls work in BlueIris is to use the "PELCO-D" protocol for PTZ control and NOT the ONVIF(OXML) or Reolink ONVIF protocols. Use Pelco-D and you will get full PTZ controls, this lets you define autopatrol schedules based on time of day, etc.3) Many of the features they list aren't present in the H265 video stream received by BlueIris. The motion detection, highlighting of objects, etc. all appear to be functions done inside the ReoLink app itself and not the camera. ONVIF triggering appears to be broken. I have cameras that are 5 years older that have better ONVIF support.4) The camera has a single mount option that is appropriate for mounting only to a vertical surface. I had to grab a block of wood and make an adapter of sorts to attach this to a drop down mount under the eave of my roof where my previous AMCrest camera was located. It is advantageous to have it mount farther away at the corner of the roof to allow the PTZ camera to cover a wider FOV.I would give this camera 5 stars if the BlueIris 2-way audio was working and if the PTZ preset locations would work via normal ONVIF camera functions.

Really love that it has PTZ and auto tracking all in one affordable package. Those features work pretty well, especially for a consumer-level device. I wish it had greater light sensitivity in near-dark conditions like other cameras on the market because the LED lights are too much to be turning on very bright at night in front of my house. Still, it works fairly well to leave it in color mode even when that LED is off because it does have decent light sensitivity, just not great. The motion detection is where I am going to need to spend more time trying to fine tune because as it is it's firing constantly, even when there's nothing that I can see in frame that is moving (other than maybe leaves in the trees moving ever so little?). The secondary stream for the zoom feature is pretty slick. I haven't found it to be super useful yet because it doesn't seem to want to center itself on whatever it's tracking, so I don't really find it showing me the face of the person in the yard for example. I suspect this might be just a setting problem but it doesn't work great out of the box. However, the wider FOV stream is high quality so you can make out faces on that stream just fine.EDIT: I see that I can reduce the sensitivity of the motion detection to reduce the false positives, which is helping (I still need to tweak more). I also found that changing the "tracking method" to "pan/tilt tracking first" does the trick to make it so the secondary zoom camera is focused on the target. It's actually pretty amazing -- just now I watched it figure out that there was someone walking down the sidewalk across the street from me, it automatically moved to center both cameras on that person, zoomed in to see them fairly closely with the secondary camera while keeping the main camera at the full FOV, and automatically continued to move to keep them in frame. I feel like this will be very helpful in case there's something wonky going on in front of my house now.

Setup camera to monitor our driveway for kids doing knock and run aways. First day after install caught them at it. Sample image above. Works well but the deterrence works even better. Very obvious and easy to see it is tracking movement. Simple to set up, just one Cat 6 cable to run for a POE install. Unfortunately we are on a laneway so it doesn't cover everything but the camera is great.
