It's hard to get excited about a plastic scoop, but damn this is an awesome scoop. I was looking for a sturdy plastic scoop for driveway ice melt because it was oxidizing my aluminum scoop. I tried this commercial grade scoop, as every plastic one I own is flimsy and thin. To my surprise, this has thick, strong plastic with a reinforced solid handle. As you can see in the photos, the sides are 3.5mm (over 1/8") thick, and the handle junction is 5.4mm, nearly 1/4" thick.It's also not too long, so the handle is less likely to get get hung up when you're scooping inside a bag, like with pet food.I suspected it wasn't made in Communist China, and hoped it was US made, but there's nothing in the listing or on the scoop revealing country of origin.I'm in the process of replacing all my kitchen, pet food, and garage scoops with these.Consider this review a great 'scoop' on a great scoop. LOL
