Hold more ice , less spill and weight is better distributed. Thicker plastic. I would buy again

I love this Rubbermaid scoop. I use it as a soil scoop when I'm potting plants and need to mix large quantities of different types of bagged soil mediums. It's perfect.

I purchased this plastic scooper because we had one that is similar at the office and it has lasted for years. One might think that plastic would not be durable! I use this in our large home ice bin and it works quickly to break up the ice and is perfect for scooping out large amounts to fill ice chests.

Great ice scoop for my ice O-Matic Icemaker in the garage. It allows the transfer of a pretty decent amount of ice for each scoop. Seems pretty sturdy and I’m happy. My only negative with the scoop is that it is just a tiny bit big and you have to turn it slightly to get the scoop and ice out of the bin opening. No big deal after you get the knack of it. My son has a similar size metal ice scoop. It is shaped like a traditional ice scoop and it is easier to get in and out of the ice bin. However, it cost about three times as much.

Super scooper for the litter box. I scoop with the one with holes in it and thenI pour that "stuff" into this scoop to transport it to our litter genie with nospillage. Works like a charm. :) It's BIG!

My husband uses this to get charcoal out of his large metal trash can he uses to hold his charcoal in for his grill. Very sturdy and still in one piece after many uses.

Great ice scooper! Very strong and feels like a commercial brand ice scooper. We are useing it for a ice machine for our seafood department so it gets a lot of use and everyone is very satisfied with it.

Was using a Gerry rigged gallon liquid soap container for a scoop and it was getting old but now with the rubber maid scoop feeding my dogs is super easy

There's something about companies that plaster big stickers on things that WON'T COME OFF CLEANLY that really drives me bonkers. As soon as I come across something like that, no matter how great the product, immediately it drops a notch in my estimation. This is no different. There's a large sticker on the outer side of this, and it's of the variety that can not come off on even just a few pieces. And since this is going to get jammed into chunks of dry material, that's going to peel in bits and never look clean, the adhesive exposed will collect gunk.Other than that, it's alright for the price. It's about as solid as you'd expect, but I won't be forcefully digging this into anything, but for non forceful scooping it should hold up well. The handle is at a good angle, and is a decent size to hold with or without gloves. And the bottom that extends under the handle is at a good spot to be able to extend your index finger when pushing it into something, and help keep the angle good while digging. For the price it's about the best you can find in this size, I probably would've given it 5 stars if it weren't for the junk plastered to the side of it that's not shown in the photo they have.
