I actually use this ice scoop as a dog food scoop but it is perfect for that use. It is just the right size, easy to hold, and puts almost a perfect bowl full of food with one scoop.

I got this to use with my ice maker bucket and it's perfect for this. The end of the scoop fits right up against my water bottles so I can easily and quickly pour my ice into them. It seems pretty sturdy and I think it will last a long time. It's easy to clean, which I very much appreciate!! There are no tiny crevaces or areas that would gather bacteria.

We use this scooper for ice in our freezer, and it's been a great addition for us. I love how durable it is, I can see us using this long-term as there have been no issues with this, so if you're looking for a scooper of any type for daily use, I would highly recommend these!

In our last house we had an ice scoop. It was great. No sticking a slightly damp hand into the ice and having the ice stick to your hand. We moved. I forgot the ice scoop. For eight years I've missed it for precisely four seconds each time I need ice.In the great infinite wisdom of my favorite store; Amazon put this in front of me. I ordered it immediately. It's perfect and better than my old one. See, my old one was made from metal. It was certainly heavy duty... but it was of course so cold and your skin would literally stick to the metal each time you touched it. Part of the charm I used to think.This one is plastic. Though it's stored in the freezer in the actual ice... somehow it doesn't seem to get cold. It certainly won't stick to your skin. No more grubby hands in the ice. This is a seriously cheap, major upgrade to your kitchen. Nowhere on this planet can you spend this minuscule amount of money and forever have something that is so handy... Just get it. And if you move... don't forget it when you leave!

I got the 12" size because the smaller one looked too small for ice cubes. This one is a good size. It could be too big but it will work with me.I think ice scoops should have a handle that bends up so it is easier to scoop in the ice bin and you don't have to have your hand in the ice to scoop it out.The handle is hollow but not open on the end. I like that it is closed so nothing gets inside and easier to clean. The quality is great and I have no worries with it breaking. It is solid but lightweight.It works great for my ice needs! I showed it in a 8 oz coffee cup to show the size.The best part is that it is a little more narrow at the tip so it fun els into the cups better and shouldn't spill out the sides from being too wide at the end.

The handle void is just cheaply glued together with a cover, it will collect bacteria and be impossible to keep sanitary. Good for scooping kitty litter but would not recommend for food safe applications.

Its a scoop. Its built sturdy…the handle is a full square. We use it for ice. It looks like it will last quite a long time. Seems fairly priced.
