I had my new mini-split system vacuumed down, 3-stage pressure leak test and they apparently didn't follow the makers instructions which clearly note the high pressure test is necessary, yes it isThis system worked perfectly for a few months then the cooling performance stated to diminish. After a year catting the AC service company and the makers tech support I decided to complete the high pressure test myselfAfter 2 hours into the 3rd and finally 550 psi test, the ac psi gauge didn't move.However using this wonderful spray I detected a small slow leak and a micro leak.Now I'll inform the AC company and the maker. The trouble-shooting with the makers tech support failed to suggest to check the systems refrigerant psi simply because there wasn't an error code.A waisted year with no cooling or heating.This is a great product and it does cling to the copper lines extremely well over a period of time M

The photo I attached was from a customers evaporator core leaking ever so slightly. Without Big Blu I would have to rely on my picky and not always accurate electronic leak detector. The photo I was able to get was solid proof in my diagnosis and instilled confidence in my customer that I successfully located the leak in the system. The job was immediately approved, and not a cheap repair.
