This product got me from FL to WI and back during the holidays. My only trouble with it was one of the female plastic clips broke. I wrote the company for a replacement and never got a response, that was displeasing but overall a good purchase.

Held luggage and kept it dry. Zippers and Velcro straps keep weather out. Sat on the roof on the included non- skid pad, between the rack rails, and road securely with little noise. Worth the extra $ to get a Reese product.

This bag held up like a champ. For Christmas 2024 vacation my family road trip from Cali to NY. We accumulated more luggage and ordered it and came right in time to go back home. This carrier did what it was suppose to do! We drove through every weather conditions, snow, ice, rainy, fog, wind and even through forest fire smoke all the way back to Cali safe and sound. Little qualms - the lock was a little difficult and expect it to have noise from the wind. Other than that, glad we purchased this!

Drove around 500miles in rain with some heavy downpours. No rain got into the bag and it performed well. Very large topper with decent built in tie downs . My only concern is the clasps are a little whimpy so I just added 2 rachet straps I had laying around. I also had the zipper towards the back of the car to cut down on the velcro overlap flapping. I would recommend this product!

Bought the Reese cargo carrier instead of a more expensive hard-shell carrier. This was our first time using a carrier, doing a 7 hour drive, all highway. Not only was the carrier easy to use, but it was also very secure and capacious enough for 2 big suitcases, a golf bag, and 4 other pieces of luggage. Great choice for us!

Used this for a long camping road trip. I was able to fit a tent, two travel suit cases, a cooler, and other various odds and ends. Very thick quality materials and kept everything dry through a few hours of rainy driving.

This is a well made cargo bag that holds a lot of gear. The material is very rugged and durable, and the zipper is high quality. Installation is easy, and it worked very well for its first 4 day trip.I used it on top of a Subaru Ascent that has a long sunroof, and factory roof rails with Thule crossbars. I didn’t want to place the bag directly on the glass, so I ordered a cheap second pair of crossbars to support its large size and eliminate sag in the middle. The only improvement I’d love to see in this bag, is a bottom insert to give it some rigidity. I had to position the crossbars and pack it strategically to keep the bag off of the roof. I realize it’s a soft bag, and that a solid bottom insert would make storage a real pain when not in use. However, I think a foldable insert could eliminate that problem and make using this cargo bag with roof racks a lot easier.Regardless, this bag seems very well made and it held up really well through 2 states and back. I expect it to hold up for many years to come. It’s a great value for the money spent.

I bought this for a trip to Mexico Beach, FL from Henderson, KY. Got the rooftop carrier loaded up with all straps very secure and tight. Got a total of 11 miles away and had to pull over for the first time to re-secure the first broken strap. Actually the strap anchor stitching came apart. We had to stop 3 more times on the way down to re-secure additional broken straps. We eventually had to buy ratchet straps to secure it because so many straps/buckles failed
