This bag worked really well for our CRV. We do not have roof rails or a roof rack on our car, but needed a way to be able to travel with extra gear when we brought along our 4 dogs. This came in the mail fast and just in time for a weekend vacation we planned 2.5 hours away from home.The anti slip mat was a blessing. This bag didn't budge once the entire trip there and back. It was easy to install, and the straps worked great. The straps are very long, so there wasn't any last minute improvising to safely secure this to the roof of the car. We used the provided lock to keep the bag zipper from opening while driving at high speeds. It was a little difficult to load things into the bag, but that's because I'm only 5'4" and our CRV doesn't have foot rails.Overall, this was a great alternative to purchasing and installing roof rails to our car. It folded easily when we put it into storage afterwards, and doesn't take up a lot of space either!

I carry a lot of stuff in my car, so I thought I would give this a try for some extra space. Excellent choice. This bag is well made out of good quality materials. Fit and finish are good. Fits perfectly onto my cargo roof rack. Easy to use and works well. Highly recommend. 5 stars.

Can be a game-changer! Man, I hate that phrase. Forget that. What it can be is an incredibly useful emergency transport storage add-on; like "Thank gosh I have this thing!"Quick point you'll thank me for: it is _hugely_ helpful to have a small/foldable stepping stool in the car to elevate you so you can deal with this thing (unless you're 7 feet tall). Not a necessity, but almost.Went to pick my kid up from college. On the way up embraced the "astronaut" model whereby there is so little room she sits in the passenger stuff and the last little items are packed on her lap like she's in the Apollo module. I don't know by which hellish voodoo she came by all the additional stuff she acquired, but...additional space did not appear in the car by magic. So this thing totally saved the day. Not-too-tough to mount, nice materials, very nicely made, folds up reasonably compactly in the car when not in use, reasonably light.Not cheap, but considering workmanship, materials and utility, very fairly priced.If you have roof rails with which to attach this thing, Recommended.

This bag seemed like a cheaper alternative to the hard plastic cargo boxes. It was insanely noisy though and it dragged our gas mileage down so bad! We drove with it from Colorado to Louisiana and then ended up just buying one of the hard plastic ones for the return trip.
