The Red Devil 3160 Scraper with Contour Handle, 2.5”, Red has quickly become my go-to tool for tackling everything from peeling paint to stubborn caulk. I picked this up on a whim, and I’m blown away by how well it performs. It’s one of those tools that makes you wonder how you ever got by without it!Pros: • Ergonomic Contour Handle: The handle fits my hand like a glove—curved just right to reduce fatigue and give me solid control. I’ve scraped for hours without cramps or blisters, which is a miracle for my DIY projects. • Sharp, Sturdy Blade: The 2.5-inch blade is the perfect width—wide enough to cover ground quickly, but narrow enough for precision in tight spots. It’s tough, too; it powers through old paint and gunk without dulling fast. • Great Leverage: The design gives me awesome leverage to dig into tough materials. I’ve stripped window frames and smoothed drywall patches with ease—feels like it does half the work for me! • Bright Red Color: I know it sounds minor, but the bold red handle makes it impossible to lose in my cluttered toolbox or on a messy workbench. It’s a small detail that saves big frustration. • Affordable Quality: For the price, this feels like a professional-grade tool. It’s solid, reliable, and punches way above its weight class.Cons: • Blade Replacement Isn’t Obvious: It’s not super clear how to swap out the blade when it eventually dulls (though mine’s still going strong). A quick-start guide would’ve been nice for newbies like me. • Slightly Stiff at First: Out of the box, the handle felt a little rigid until I broke it in. Once I got a few uses under my belt, it molded to my grip better, but it’s worth noting. • Not for Heavy-Duty Jobs: This shines for paint and light scraping, but if you’re chiseling off thick tile adhesive or something brutal, you might need a beefier tool. This Red Devil 3160 Scraper is a total winner in my book. It’s comfortable, effective, and built to last—everything I want in a tool. Whether you’re prepping for a paint job or cleaning up old sealant, this scraper makes the task faster and less of a chore. Five stars all the way—I recommend it to every DIYer I know!

I thought I had my walls scraped until I got this, it did a great job, and created some more work for me, but the final result will be way better.

This thing as a beast! I bought it to scrape shingles on an old house and the only thing wrong is it's a little too big (my error). The old shingles warp (curve outward on the edges) and this is a bit too big to get into the warped areas but if you have large flat areas to scrape then this tool will make short work of the job.

I had a similar brand that I used for over 20 years. I was having trouble finding one a the local box stores so I took a chance and bought this one. Worked perfectly. Very happy

This scraper has been a really nice addition to use for my wood furniture refinishing. My only complaint is that the screw holding the blade on loosens up pretty easily. It could be the way I'm using it, but the screw should be held more secure. Despite that, I would still recommend this scraper.

I used this scraper during a paint-stripping project, and it made the task much more manageable. The scraper comes equipped with a single plate that houses four distinct edges, you can simply rotate the plate to access a fresh cutting edge.

I bought this for the purpose of cleaning off my lawn mower deck. I'm not sure that is the intended purpose but that is what I use it for.It is not very heavy but very durable. I like the way you can use the different sides. It has four edges and that is very convenient in getting the job done. On the bottom is a screw that you take off on change the blades over to get access to the other two. It has four blades but only two can be used at a time. It's a bit bigger than I imagined (that's what she said) so read the dimensions and make sure you know what you're getting. Overall I am glad I bought it and maybe one day I'll use it to scrape paint or something. Who knows? Please up vote my review so I feel validated.
