The box arrived in good shape. I did not run into any problems concerning the part during installation - there were many screw holes that had to line up and the plastic panel reproduction seemed right on. The regulator itself operates smoothly and does match the original equipment quality. I called the local dealership and found that this part saved me $500.The only thing missing was that, there is one screw behind the interior door handle that screws into the plastic of the OE panel. There is a small cut out in the plastic of this replacement part where it appears they may have wanted to put a tin threaded clip - but nothing there. It didn't make any difference in the strength, so it did not matter that much. I suppose one could make a little nut, piece of wood or piece of plastic to remedy this issue.I'm very happy because it takes an amateur 3 or 4 hours to perform this repair - fair to moderate difficulty.

Why did I buy this? I have a 2014 Ram 1500 Quad cab (small doors in the back).I recently rolled down the right rear (passenger side) window. I heard a pop. Canât remember if it was on the way down or way back up but I instantly knew something bad happened.Ultimately, the window would not roll up all the way. After fiddling with it, the window ended up all the way down and would not roll up at all.I did some homework and found this part on Amazon. Some interesting background: 8 years ago, I had to replace the same part on the left rear side as one of my kids tried to use the latch handle as lifting point to pull himself up into the truck. Back then the only place to get the part was from the dealer. I recall the part was crazy expensive ($350 - $500). However, what the dealer part had, this part did not was all the pieces and parts included. (regulator motor, latch handle and a couple other things as I recall). I did not have to transfer much of anything from the old âplastic door cardâ to the new one. The new one came with the handle, and the motor that rolls the window up and down. With that said, swapping the parts from the old âold plastic door cardâ to the new one I bought from this listing was very straightforward, except for the latch handle. This part was a pain only because I did not notice the little plastic/rubber stop (first photo) that pushes into a hole just in front of the latch. Had I noticed this, I would have just popped it out. I believe the latch handle would have been infinitely easier to remove. Ultimately, I used wire cutters to nip at the plastic until I was able to free up the latch handle (3rd photo). In the grand scheme of things, it was no big deal, but I definitely worked harder instead of smarter. The result was perfect. Last minute note...The third photo has a label "1" on it. This is needed too. It pops out of the old one and into the new one. It is where the last screw threads into when you put the last plastic cover on right at the end.Pros:1. Way cheaper than purchasing the part from the dealer.2. Easy to do, if you are mechanically inclined to do this type of work yourself.3. Did not have to take the truck to the dealer and get charged $200 an hour to swap this out.4. Did not have to wait for the dealer to complete the repair.5. The entire job took about 1.5 hours from start to finish.6. There are a couple of YouTube videos to show you how to take the door apart.Cons:1. Whoever does the repair is going to get dirty.2. Your wife will refuse to do the repairs, so youâre going to get dirty.
