Your cart is empty. The original equipment window regulator and motor assembly on certain Tesla vehicles can malfunction when the factory design's cable tensioners allow excessive slack, leading to cable tangling, derailing, and eventually failure. This Dorman OE FIX replacement regulator and motor assembly features longer tensioners and deeper channels on the cable reel to help better prevent these issues in the future. This part is compatible with the following vehicles. Before purchasing, enter your vehicle trim in the garage tool to confirm fitment. [Tesla S: 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020]

Easy install. Fit perfectly. Have to remove the black pinion from the original motor to fit but worked out great due to my pinion being worn out from damaged regulator. Tesla quoted me $260 for the same part.

I got it for both sides, but really only needed for passenger. Looks of better quality that the original OEM. I will install the second one soon.

The Tesla Model S is known for window regulator failure. Chances are if your window is misbehaving, it's the regulator. The part I received fit just like the original regulator. I did notice a slight difference in the pulley system, where the replacement part no longer requires the use of teeth of the main gear, so that's an improvement to the original part.Anyway, part worked great! Takes about 3-4 hours to do the job, so make sure you give yourself enough time to watch YouTube how to videos to uninstall/reinstall. Good luck, you can do it!

I was a bit nervous after seeing reviews of people saying the part did not fit, but this fit my 2013 Model S perfectly. At first I thought it wasn't going to fit until I realized that after you take off the motor from the old regulator, you need to remove the gear that stays attached to the motor. The new regulator comes with this piece already. It's also possible that it doesn't fit newer Model S's as Tesla changes things all the time, but I can confirm this works at least on a 2013.

The white cable drive gear is incompatible with Tesla Model S OEM window motor. I am not sure where the "just like Tesla OEM" comment comes from, because it is certainly not. Considering the condition of my old window regulator cables and drive gear (which is black in the OEM), looks like I will have to either find a replacement or attempt 3D printing it, if I want to use the rest of the new regulator.

comes without motor...ok, but the gear that the wires are wrap around is not compatible with the tesla motor...in other words, the motor can not assimilate with the product's gear [shown in the photo] in order to wind up the wires. My old tesla gear was worn and frayed along with the broken window regulator wires. My old motor still works, but now I need to find a replacement for that central gear.

This replacement assembly fit perfectly in my driver's door and functions as new.I'm not sure if Tesla has a couple different designs out there but looking at the other reviews, it seems some people might not be understanding that the whitish cable wheel on the Dorman assembly interfaces directly with the window motor. The black splined wheel needs to be removed from the motor (just pulls off) and is discarded. The three protrusions on the whitish cable wheel of the Dorman assembly engage with the three recesses in the Tesla window motor housing. This Dorman assembly contains all the parts you need. Just use your motor (minus the black splined wheel) and glass.
