The fit was not good. It just didn't fit me comfortably. I found it difficult to put on. And I was allergic to the product at the top touching my skin. I am allergic to a lot of products. I was very disappointed as I am experiencing a great deal of pain.

My edema was so bad from vienous insufficiency I had to seek nursing care. After compression casts around my feet and calves it's recommended for aftercare that I have something on my upper legs. Since my left leg will come out of casts first, I've gotten this item. With my nurses I can start wearing it now but it will really kick in with compression hose.As a test run, I wore this for twenty four hours with both sleep a decent activity level. It never fell down, or rode up. Throughout the day I could tighten or loosen the velcro as desired for comfort (ie, don't make it a tourniquet). This should work great as complimentary to compression hose when I need upper leg compression.Long term I wonder about the velcro losing strength but the type on here seems very tight and grippy, so, here's hoping it works out long term.

I have mixed feelings about this hip brace. I think it makes a really good upper thigh brace, but I can’t align it to compress my hip as much as I need around the hip joint or bursa. The side panel presses some because of the waist band. So I’m getting a little compression at the hip, but not around it. So far, it’s the best brace I’ve found to attempt to compress the upper thigh and hip. I’ll continue searching, but I will definitely use this one in the meantime. I haven’t found better.

This just really didn’t work for my sciatica. Did nothing while moving or walking. It did push on the area while laying down which helped a bit.
