Brace works great! A little odd getting used to having it on while sleeping. It helped a lot in my case. Haven’t woke up in the middle of the night with my elbow on fire and cramped up. Hope it works well for you!

Once I follow the instructions and put it on my arm, I wondered how I was gonna be able to sleep with it because it keeps your arm straight. But now that I’m used to it, I’m OK with it. And my elbow has stopped hurting

Really secures my elbow. I wear it at night to demobilize my elbow to reduce pain and it works. I am pain free for the first time in months. Very easy to use and fits well.

I have a problem with the nerve running on the outside of my elbow. The way the aluminum braces run on this, the one on the outside sits right on the outside of my elbow, and as such, causes pain. I took out the outer brace, and left the inner elbow one, but even the fabric was aggravating my elbow. I bought another that leaves the elbow exposed, and it doesn't aggravate. This one is of good quality, and doesn't move (although I couldn't keep it on for more than an hour or so). Good product, just didn't work for my situation.

i’ve been using this daily to allow myself to continue working (house painting) after injuring a tendon in my elbow at the gym. this brace allows me a limited range of motion so this i can complete most daily tasks if i am careful, but keeps me from placing excessive flex on the joint. after over a month of daily use, i am seeing significant improvements and i have not had to quit work or go into a hard brace like i have had to do in the past with similar injuries. this brace has two hard strips of boning that run in the inside and outside of the elbow that restrict movement. as long as they are oriented so the tip of the partially bent elbow is not pressing directly into the boning, then the brace is comfortable enough for all day wear. on hot days when working outside all day, if it is worn snug, the ventilation holes can irritate the skin after a full day. it’s more comfortable in that situation worn over a lightweight long sleeve shirt. also, i am a woman with slender arms. i can wear it on my bare arm, or over a sweatshirt or light jacket. however, for a large man it would probably be very snug even on a bare arm.EDIT: fyi, Velcro died after two months of daily wear. Every other brace i have ever had lasted longer than that.

I was diagnosed with Cubital Tunnel Syndrome because my desk job has my elbows on the desk. After having gone to Shoppers Drug Mart in Manitoba, I bought the best elbow support they had, only to have returned it a few days later. It was about the same price as this one, but low quality. This brace is incredible with or without the two steel supports. After a few days, I did remove the two supports as the brace alone provides great padding and support. This brace is so comfortable, and well made. Very impressed.

I had to take one of the metal pieces out because it was hitting my elbow (the sore part), and I ended up taking it off because I couldn’t sleep. It’s definitely more comfortable than some of the other braces I’ve tried and very sturdy, but I started to feel throbbing further down my arm and in my hand. It was easy to put on with clear instructions, but it was causing too much pain while I was lying down.

I am a muscular guy (thank you, genetics). I was hoping that this well-reviewed brace would comfortably fit my arm. Sadly, it is a challenge to just pull it up my arm so that half of it was just above my elbow. The this brace and it's metal supports likely work great if your arm is normal human person sized. But with my arm- pulling the straps tight enough to immobize my arm means that this brace feels as tight as a blood pressure cuff. And I don't really feel like I want a tourniquet on my right arm as I go to sleep.Leaving it loose enough to feel comfortable (a firm and secure hold but not compressing my arm) means that I am able to bend my arm about 30°-45° in my sleep. If this was one size larger in diameter and if it were about 3-5 inches longer, i feel like this would work on me as well as the current version works of most other people. So, the device does what it says on the tin, but if you have ever used the term "lift" to describe what it is thst you do when are at the gym, you will probably need something larger than this.

Finding an effective elbow brace for cubital tunnel syndrome (ulnar nerve compression at the elbow "funny bone") seems to be a challenge. This is my second and I will write a review shortly about my third. This brace is useful for me during the day time because it prevents me from resting my elbow on the desk and keeps my arm fairly straight. I wear it with the metal splints at the sides because I want to avoid having the splint apply pressure to the ulnar nerve where it traverses the cubital tunnel at the elbow. With the splints at the side, I can bend my elbow to about 90 degrees but the brace applies pressure to straighten my arm when I exceed about 45 degrees. If I am doing things where I need to bend my elbow more, I loosen the straps. When I want the brace to keep my elbow straighter I tighten them. The inside is lined with very nice soft material, the straps are stretchy, and with the metal splints at the sides I find this very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The velcro used on this brace loses its stick faster than traditional velcro. Unlike traditional velcro that has relatively long hooks, the hook side of this velcro is a plastic strip with extremely short hooks. These don't hold as well as traditional velcro and get clogged with just a small amount of fluff and hair, then stop working. I tried cleaning the velcro using duct tape, a number of different brushes, and even a small pick to lift and remove the fluff and hairs, but the velcro did not regain its ability to stick well. After only two months of use I am going to have to sew on some traditional velcro (hook side) onto the straps, particularly the middle one. With the splints at the sides, when I bend my elbow there is a lot of pressure on the middle strap and the velcro often lets go. This occurs when I use my arms to do things like lie down in bed, reach to scratch an itch, etc. The velcro on the middle strap also lets go while I sleep, presumably when I move around in my sleep.I have noted this brace as useful for daytime because during the day I need some flexibility, but the brace inhibits me from leaning on my elbow and bending it excessively. Better yet, I can adjust how much I can bend my elbow by how tight I do up the straps. At night, I need a brace that keeps my elbow straighter than this brace is able. It is easy to sleep with my elbow bent 90 degrees or more while wearing this brace. That's because if I bend my elbow then the bedding holds it bent despite the brace applying pressure to straighten, and because the velcro on the middle strap comes undone, alleviating a lot of the pressure to keep the elbow straight.I have found that if I rotate the brace about 20 degrees then the brace keeps my elbow straighter, but unless I get the position exactly right a metal splint applies pressure on the side of a bones at my elbow. While that does not affect the ulnar nerve, it is uncomfortable. If you are seeking a brace that holds the elbow rigidly in one position (straight or almost straight) without applying pressure to the ulnar nerve, then this is not a good choice. If you are seeking a brace the allows the elbow to bend somewhat but that tends to keep the elbow straighter (e.g. less than 90 degree bend) then this works fairly well except for the velcro losing its stick. I gave this only 3 stars because the velcro loses its stick too soon and it allows my elbow to bend more than I would like while I sleep.
