For the price, this reading journal is excellent! It’s an elegant book and the pages are thick and quality. Highly recommend!

The binding is quality and the fabric cover and look is pleasing. The price point is excellent.However, the whole point of a reading journal is kind of missed. There are pages upon pages for lists of books to read, books you’ve loaned out, books you’ve read with pages to color in, etc that take up half the journal. The actual pages for review and analysis are disappointing- the prompts seem like they were translated from another language and don’t quite make sense. The page for quotes and thoughts is with the dot format for bullet journals instead of being lined. Not sure where this template comes from that literally half the reading journals for sale on Amazon use, but it’s time for an upgrade.

This is a beautiful book but unfortunately I probably won't be using 75% of it. For that reason I give only 2 stars. There really should be something that makes it clear this is more for those who like to write book reviews. Over 50% is what this book is. I got this to write down what I read. I love the reading tracker. I thought there were actual reading challenges but they are blank for you to make your own.
