This is great practice for my son who really struggles with handwriting in general but especially with calligraphy.

First and foremost this practice book has only a few pages. I wish there were more and the grooves were deeper so I could keep writing without slipping my pen/pencil out of the grooves. Some letters like g, j, m, and n capital letters are the same as lowercase ones. And I wish there was an American version of this book here in the US. I'm sure people would love it.

It is a Chinese book advertised as US calligraphy. The 1st language & 1st of each example is in Chinese.

Great calligraphy book for beginners. Keeping this for myself so I can actually learn how to better letter - but great buy and would be an awesome gift. Solid quality and seemingly pretty easy to use too!

The practice letters are quite small, several with English spelling errors. I mean, it's a calligraphy practice book, right? At least hire someone who speaks English correctly to write the translations without spelling and grammatical errors. Good concept, however.
