The Mead Primary Journal contains 100 double-sided pages to give students plenty of space to work. It’s perfect for creative writing exercises and is appropriate for Grade K-2 level students. Each page measures 7-1/2" x 9-3/4". The top half of each page is blank for artwork or doodles, while the bottom half is printed with solid and dotted line primary ruling. The inside cover has a manuscript alphabet for easy reference. Sewn binding is smooth and helps keep pages securely in place.

The Mead Primary Journal with half-page ruled lines is ideal for young kids learning to write. The large lines help them practice neat handwriting, and the space for drawings encourages creativity. A bit more expensive since it is organized a little differently than regular composition book but paper quality, etc to me appears to be the same.

Amazon was a life saver when I was searching for the Mead Primary Journal! I had been going from store to store trying to find this specific journal for my child’s school, but no luck.
