These disappearing ink pens are fun for both kids and adults and work as advertised. However, they feel flimsy and poorly made. They are very slim, don’t write smoothly, and produce very fine lines. I like the idea of the included “training aid grips,” but they are too tight to put on and prevent the cap from closing, making them useless. Overall, I don’t think these pens are suitable for kids who are just learning to write.

These "magic pens" work as described. I bought my children those "magic books" which came with the invisible ink pens. It's been over a year and the original pens have dried out so I needed new ones. So glad I found these they are just like the original magic pens that came with the books. No complaints.

If your kids have the magic books that use the disappearing ink, having these extra pens on hand is a must.As kids do, they will lose or misplace the pens and if you do not use these, then whatever is put on the page will stay on the page and will not disappear so that the child can start over again and the book isn't ruined. Included with this set are two fish that slide over the pen to try to help teach the child how to properly hold and pen or pencil.

My kiddo is in Kindergarten and loves to practice writing. She will often want to switch to a new page if she makes a mistake and can easily use up a whole notebook in one sitting. This pen lets her practice and then go back and use the notebook all over again. The ink lasts long enough for her to write and review her work before it dissapears. The little dolphins that can be placed on the end helps her practice the proper way to whold the pen. Overall, this is a really neat way for her to practice. I think it would also be fun for slightly older kiddos to write secret messages to eachother and have them dissapear later like a spy note. Part of me wishes it was a pack of pens instead of just two pen casings and a bunch of refills, however this way is less waste and so much better for the environment.

Very cool pens. The ink is black and you would never know that all traces of the writing will disappear 15-20 minutes later. My grandkids will love them. The only downside is the smoothness of the writing. They write very scratch. I would give these pens 5 stars if they wrote smoother. But they are still fun !

These pens are sold to accompany the reusable magic copybooks for young children. It’s 2 pen bodies and 20 ink refills. The idea of the copybooks is excellent and the disappearing ink adds more fun and magic for the kids. In the package are also 2 silicone fish shaped pieces to fit on the pens to make it easier to use the proper grip. (I didn’t know there was a proper grip for a pen. Maybe that’s why my handwriting is illegible.)I have a little complaint about the pens. They write with a very fine line that’s not easy to see on the slick pages of the copybook. A bigger line would be better.

I purchased the writing books that uses these magic pens. It came with a short supply so when I saw these online, I jumped at the chance to never run out of ink for those re-writable books. Now I have so many that I don't have to be concerned with running out. With three grandkids using them, they will have hours of writing practice and fun. They work great. Highly recommend them.
