I purchased this after someone told me what a great help they were at their own house. I keep mine in the kitchen, and it really is great for reaching things that I'd usually need a stool for. I've pulled cans of soup out of a cupboard that's out of my reach, as well as turning on and off the light that's at the back of the kitchen table. One of the smartest things I've bought in a long time! And very inexpensive!

Not that great of a gripper or strong. Maybe for very light work but not for heavy work. They broke with in a couple months of purchase.

It does what it is intended to do and it does it well. It can be folded so it fits well in a bag or carryon. The problem is that one must have a somewhat strong hand to squeeze it. I bought two of these for relatives with Parkinson’s and weak hands. I know at least one of them will not be able to use it. Still gave them 5 stars because they are well made and work well.

Got this for my dad a couple months ago and it works great. Not only is it lightweight, but it is durable. It has a grip material liner on the inside of the claw giving it a better grip on the item you are picking up. This item is much better than the grabbers we've had before. I will definitely be getting another one to have around the house.

As the title says, the grabber is great. Works well, offers a way to get higher reach or lower reach to avoid back pain. But it does squeak and it’s pretty stiff…..at least after a couple of weeks of use. Maybe it will break in?

i definitely recommend this option compared to some others! it’s pretty affordable and definitely worth the price. i bought it for picking up pieces of litter and random junk — it’s definitely been helpful when sorting trash and recycling. i haven’t had any issues with its mechanisms, the claw opens and closes nicely and has a pretty decent grip on whatever it is i’m trying to pick up. i love the handle, super easy to press down and i find the finger indentations helpful as well. it has the option to rotate the head 90 degrees, which i have done several times and had no issue switching back and forth. if you gently pull the tool apart where the black clasp is in the middle, the two metal rods disconnect and you can fold the pole into two pieces for easy storage. definitely worth it, would 100% recommend!

As the third trimester rolled around, this was super useful in helping me pick up things that I dropped on the floor. It is sturdy enough to pick up most things, and the clips are easy enough to maneuver.
