Immediately after hooking these speakers up, I heard crackling and popping, like playing a scratched vinyl when playing any audio. I submitted a request for support with Razer and I'm still waiting almost a week later for some resolution, which they say is software related. It seems like their program, Synapse, causes most of these issues, which in my opinion, is crazy given the price of these speakers--and Synapse controls all the important features of the speaker. I'm giving Razer another week to see if there is a fix, or I'm going to have to RMA these. There's no point in paying this much for speakers that do not work with the software it's intended to be used for and has such crappy audio quality thanks to those issues. Honestly, the potential is there. It sounds good in those instances when it isn't popping and/or crackling. But it's not worth it.

I really liked this! The only thing is that you have to turn it on manually every time you start you're playstation, but that's a minor issue l, but sound is amazing, really easy to setup, size is a little bigger than a expected but overall these are amazing !

These speakers are undoubtedly overpriced. The premium brand tax you are paying for these is borderline egregious. However, if you can stomach the price, they truly are great sounding speakers.Yes the Razer software is an obnoxious pain, and the software is essentially mandatory because out of the box the speakers sound flat and are in desperate need of an EQ adjustment.Yes the RGB lighting is a total gimmick and quite honestly is an obnoxious distraction more often than not, especially in a dark room where the pulsating light becomes a distraction. But where its most important, the Sound, these speakers are absolutely tremendous. Got them as a gift for my wife and the Bass is really heavy in a good way. You get great, deep bass notes without any shaking/rattling (at least on carpet). The speakers themselves are full ranged and have great sound at all volumes. There are no sacrifices here, High, Mid and Low range all sound great. It is immediately obvious that these speakers are a class above the vast majority of what's available on the market. Playing Rocksmith on the PC with these speakers legitimately sounds better than a lot of cheaper amps. Movies and games sound terrific, sound effects and music are clear and crisp feel like they have real weight to them. These speakers really should come without RGB, with Hardware controls or direct integration into windows instead of the Razer software ecosystem garbage, and cost $75 less. They would easily be one of the best speaker setups on the market, if not the best, if they ditched the unnecessary frills and were priced more appropriately. But if you find these speakers on sale and can stomach the RGB/Razer Software, or if you only care about sound quality for playing music/movies/rockband, you really can't go wrong with these speaker. Normally the RGB/software stuff would drive me crazy, but the sound really is terrific, so much so that I am willing to look past the other issues. In a perfect world, someone other than Razer would make this set so that you could just buy a quality set of speakers at a reasonable price without the nonsense Razer BS. But all things considered, you most likely won't regret this purchase, the sound you get out of these speakers is shockingly good.

To begin with, these speakers arrived quickly, and I was surprised with the actual size of them, for some reason I thought they would of been smaller, but this was a pleasant surprise. Plugged them in pretty quickly via USB (there is no 3.5 connector), and PC (Windows 11) recognized immediately. You do not need to install the THX Spatial, but i you want to have any control over the sound, you need to, as the out the box sound is a little flat. Most of the features within the program like Bass Boost, Vocal Clarity, or Sound Normalization, are better sounding with them off as they just produce an echo effect which doesn't sound natural. The Razer Nommo V2 X is a 2 gaming PC speaker, which is pretty accurate, as I don't feel the acoustics are that great when it comes to music. High's are mediocre (sometimes they sounds good), mid's are decent, and low's are non existence imo. Now that doesn't mean I don't hear the bass, it's just that it sounds more like mids trying hard to produce base. I would assume this version with a subwoofer might actually be decent, and fill in the sound I feel is missing. I could see how some would love these speaks for music, but I am little bit of a snob when it comes to audiophile.Movies... Voices come through very clean, and easy to hear. Surround sounds is pretty nice, but again it's just missing the deep base which a nice subwoofer could provide. Now for gaming, these speakers are pretty awesome! FPS combat games are pretty sick with the artillery sounds, or playing a Jedi, and hearing your light saber is very stimulating. These speakers are able to occupy the space around me very nicely so you know where things coming from. I think that is probably the best feature of these speakers, as it produces a nice surround sound similar to having a head set on, and we don't want to end up with an indent in our head now do we?All kidding around, I think these are nice PC speakers for the price. On my other PC I have the Bose Companion 5, which costs about 3 to 4 times more, if you can even find one as they don't make them anymore, but I do hear a difference for sure. Over all happy with the purchase as I did buy these mainly for gaming to add to my sim rig which I enjoy racing with, and sometimes I don't want a head set on, or when I have friends over that also want to playHope you enjoyed this review, have a blessed day!
