The Raypak Electric 3-Series Titanium Pool and Spa Heater is the latest technology in pool and spa heating. The E3T is built with titanium heating elements and 316L stainless steel to withstand extreme pool water conditions, including salt water chlorinated pools. The Raypak E3T Pool Heater operates by utilizing the latest solid-state design and flow sensor technology. It has easy to use digital controls with diagnostics and the compact size makes it easy to install for new construction or replacement installations. Low temp/freeze protection modes If the inlet temp is lower than 36F (2.2C) with sufficient flow rate, the heater will operate at reduced heating capacity to prevent water from freezing inside the unit and return to normal operation once the inlet temp reaches 40F (4.5C) and meets the minimum flow rate. If the Inlet temp is less than 32F (0C), the unit will shut down to prevent damage and the control buttons will not function.

Just like the other reviewers, mine stopped working in a few months, and that's only using the heater for the hot tub only, and less than 10 times. Heating elements burned out and am in the process of ordering more to install myself, but I'm not confident they will last either. About to chunk this in the trash and spend hundreds of dollars to get another brand.

Purchased from Pool Supply Unlimited as a replacement electric heater. Easy installation as replacement. Still under 90 day warranty, tried contacting Raypak no help. Tried contacting Pool Supply again no help. No close by warranty service provider, so have to pay $100 trip charge to get provider to check out heater. I do not recommend either company. Pool Supply should at least contact Raypak and Raypak should send service provider free of charge.

Item stopped working in less than 4 months. Seller can’t help because of the 30 day window and manufacturer isn’t responsive.
