Works great for me. I've been using it to keep my cold plunge from freezing solid cause I only use it 1 or 2 times a week. I heated up a 5 gallon bucket from around 48 f to 108 f in 20 minutes! Super for anywhere you need worm water as long as you have an outlet! You can't beat the price and it seems very durable super easy to use just throw it in water and plug it in.

Does not really heat the water, it only heats the surface so the water is not actually hot below which is the important part. Wish I could return but waited too late

Got 1.5 uses and then it stopped working. Submerged under 15" of water when in use. I cannot even say I got my monies worth.

Five stars because this absolutely works. Heats water fast and is easy to use. You have to be extremely care because it does burn out fast if used constantly.

I LOVE this thing!!!! Saved my plants from winter, but couldn't save the tower, EXCEPT with this heater! We plugged it in and the ice that was trying to clog the various levels of my hydroponic tower and was at risk of bursting the piping, so we decided to see if this would work to fix the problem. This works GREAT! IN 2 HOURS, the ice is gone from inside and outside the tower, the water is currently hovering between 79 and 80 degrees (F) with even with the temperature around 24 (F) even with heavy and constant snow fall, the tower is on the warmer side. This is a great product, worth EVERY penny it was relatively quick to produce that much heat for the water and all we had to do was verify that the water was deep enough to drop it in, put it in the water and plug it in. Too Easy. This thing just saved a hydroponic tower that cost me ~ $1300.Hot tub heating (not with people inside!)Hydroponic saver (winter only)Tub heating (not with people inside!)

Where I live, it's kind of like camping out but never going home in lots of ways. We have loss of power more frequently for one thing. And recently my sons decided to re-think how my power usage could be improved so my light bill wouldn't be so high, That included switching my water heater over to a propane "on demand" water heater but sometimes that hasn't worked right and hasn't given me a hot water supply in the kitchen, so this item has saved the day. My daughter had one for awhile in the past and suggested this one. It's fast and reliable, provided the power isn't out. One of my sons and my grandson are electricians and own an electric company so if the power does go out, they can bring me a generator and I can still use either the propane water heater or this one.
