The Radiomaster Pocket is unmatched for the cost and can control many different receivers under multiple protocols. Very comfortable in your hands and noticeable quality invested in the gimbals. 100% worthwhile purchase.

if you're reading this review you're wasting your time, this is by far the best option, both for a beginner and preferred on the battlefield. no other option.

Does the basics. Pairs easily to a ELRS receiver and sends signals. Sadly I CANNOT figure out how to reverse the servo direction on any of the channels. There is no documentation and EdgeTX and OpenTX have never heard of it so the software doesn’t let you either. Cmon. I know it’s an incredibly cheap controller but this is a basic function.Good value if you’re willing to modify your plane to reverse a servo.

I really like that it ships with a current build of EdgeTX and with latest (as of this writing) 3.3 version of ELRS on the version I selected. If you plan on using this radio with some of the pre-built quads with built-in ELRS, you may need to update your receivers if they don't bind. I like that for $65 I got a full-featured 16 channel transmitter with hall effect sticks. I like how the A and D switches light up when active. I purchased this radio to be a companion to a Pavo Pico cinewhoop. Altogether the quad, batteries and this TX fit easily in my daypack with plenty of room to spare. The stick tension is, thankfully, adjustable. It arrived with the sticks so stiff it felt like a toy, but a few moments with an allen wrench and it is smooth and responsive. One other thing I like is the momentary switch is a large pushbutton on the left side making this radio a suitable choice for controlling Discus Launch Gliders. Receivers are cheap and the signal robust with easy wifi setup. Very Pleased with this radio!
