OMG it's sooo good. It really is a great fit in even large hands like mine and works great for a thumber like myself.I have just enough switches (I do have to use the dial for OSD presets) but I use a full 10 channels without issue and is plenty for flying FPV.For fixed wing flying I don't think I have ever used more than 9 channels including triple rates and speaking the per cell pack voltage so this works great for that as well. The lights inside were a nice surprise and I also plan on adding in an LED filament light strip to the 5v pads that are available inside to add even more lights.Battery longevity is pretty solid using 3000mah 18650's and I rarely charge it. I was surprised at how long the battery life is after hearing stories of the zorro poor battery life and my own experience with a 5000mah RM lipo in my TX12. This seems to outlast the larger LIPO but I only "feel" it lasts longer, haven't done any tests. The gimbals are an adjustment from my TX16s with AG01 gimbals but I got used to them within 10 minutes of flying and the smaller size is not an issue. I might upgrade to the Pocket CnC gimbals at some point in the future since they are dirt cheap but for now I don't really need them, just want them. :)The display is bright but not OLED which I'm fine with since I primarily use this for FPV and never need to look at the screen. The buttons are layed out nicely, quality is very polished and it feels very solid in the hand; not at all light and flimsy like I was anticipating. I find myself grabbing this controller almost exclusively now since it's so easy to use, fits very well, is compact and easy to bring along, and also love the folding antenna for traveling.Overall I was shocked at how much I love this radio and it is quickly becoming my favorite radio of the 3 I own. I do wish I could have a 4" color touchscreen at the top but only in this form factor as then I would have 1 radio for FPV and Fixed Wing to rule them all. Until then I will keep using my RM TX16s with nice widgets and pretty display for fixed wing where it matters and the pocket for FPV where it doesn't.Buy this, you won't regret it!

This is the perfect radio to start your FPV or RC journey with. The gimbals are easy to adjust, plenty of buttons to get you started, lightweight, takes 18650s, and has all the features of the bigger radios with just less buttons! My left stick was not reading true center and needed a bit of trim on it (possible QC issue, subtract 1 star), but the gimbals are not going to make or break your beginner flying. I was doing flips in only a few days with this radio. Easy sticks. Once you get pretty good, you might want to step it up to a Boxer with the nice AG01 or even just the normal gimbals to have more fine control and more switches!

Quality and performance you expect from Radiomaster for a budget price. Perfect for beginners. Remember to order batteries! I use mine nearly every day and have had no issues. Plenty of online support and videos to help with setup and operation. I have the Elrs version and it easily connects to my simulator via usb c data cable. Probably the best radio for the money out there.

Love the radio itself, has no major issues and is amazing value for money. My only problem is it seems like it came used. The radio is in new condition but it didn't come with a USB-C cable like all the other ones online do and the screen protector was already applied (with a hair underneath, of course -_-) and was just badly applied. Its not worth returning because its still a great radio but it was a little but of a bummer.

Used on a fpv sim for a year and now flying real fpv. I do wish there is better understanding how to program it and how to use all the functions

After flying with this radio for a little bit, I picked up a full-size Jumper T18 and a RadioMaster TX16S and quickly wanted to get back to my RadioMaster Pocket. The gimbals are just right for a thumber like me. I added a 915MHz ELRS module and also use a RadioMaster Ranger 2.4GHz ELRS module for when I feel like flying miles away. I understand the Boxer may be the most functional radio but this Pocket has exactly as many switches and I need without anxiety over bending or breaking a thin metal toggle switch.
