If you want power, move the jumber. Too many people say it is under powered. MOVE THE JUMBER TO GET 20 WATTS. Plus it does a lot more than just CB Radio. Want 10mm. YouTube it.

I've been running this radio in my vehicle for a few months now with a Wilson Lil Will antenna. It's increased the DB gain. I previously ran this radio with the president Virginia antenna and didn't seem to get out as well as the Lil Will. I've received great reports with clear audio. This little radio sounds like a big radio shooting skip. It has a lot of features. I'm currently running a dynamic power mic with it. It's an easy setup. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase.

So far I love the size of the radio. It fits just about any where I wanna put it. I haven't had a lot of time to play with it but it does seem to have good reception. One thing that could be better is the owners Manuel. Its pretty basic.

If you move the jumper then it is not legal for CB use. Cut the white wire and it becomes a 10 meter only radio.

What a great little radio! Lots of features but very easy to use at a good price point. Love the screen...clear sounding speaker and the NOAA WX and alert. Plug and play, but to get the most I recommend reading the manual to access all the features. Highly recommend!

I date back to the old days of CB and still have a functioning (behemoth) Cobra unit.I bought this for a long distance empty highway trip where cell might not function. And I installed it and gave it a test run. It picked up very little transmissions and barely worked from my driveway to my home base station.It's a cute, little unit but the intermods for reception are poor. My SWR meter had it deliver about 2 watts transmission under realistic conditions.It fit nicely and discreetly into my new car but no soap on its functionality.Returned it no hassles.Still in the market for a good modern CB.
