Ordered the used like new model for $82, got it in and the volume knob was broken. Ordered a replacement, got it today, and overall, it seems like a nicer, Quality, radio, than the first one I received. Got it rigged up, and it works like a charm, very nice radio for $82.I’m very nostalgic, and this radio reminds me of the one my grandfather had back in the 70’s. The mic is junk, so if you’re serious about this radio, get a better mic for it. Other than that, I’m very happy with my purchase.

It was easy to install in my '22 Cascadia. There was a antenna hookup for a pre installed factory antenna but, I got my own. Reliable, good signal strength, and great reception.

Very well designed and made radio. Not overly complicated. Like the built in SWR meter but very little information on how to tune the antennae. Quite a bit larger than I pictured it so I set it up as a indoor base station. Did not realize how few users actually exist these days. Seldom hear any one. It was a good deal though, only bought it for emegencies.
