A Better Onstage Microphone Switcher The Radial HotShot 48V condenser microphone switcher stands out among A/B mic switchers by specifically addressing the issues confronted by switching condenser mic output routing. It’s a nice size, but it could/should be made out of aluminum, as it’s heavy, & it’s double the price it should be for what it does.

Definitely need this one if you're using a condenser mic. Heavy, metal design, so it'll stand up to outdoor and portable gigs.

Built like a tank but quiet as a mouse! Great product!

Works great for Voice Over as a mute switch when going live on a remote session. It’s true, there is no signal pop from the device. However, when you reengage the signal, you do hear the actual hardware switch make a slight click sound. For live event setting, non issue. But for recording in an isolated booth, I do wish the hardware was a bit quieter. With that said, I still like this much more than any of the Rolls audio switches which still let signal bleed. This works as a true mute.
