I'm really happy with this hum eliminator box. When you're in a live situation and start to get hum on a microphone or instrument line, it can be really frustrating, especially when cutting it close to showtime. This is an efficient way to neutralize those problems, and it can do two channels at once. I've used this in both live music situations and in a DJ setup, so I can attest to each the XLR, the quarter inch, and the RCA inputs and outputs all work flawlessly. The metal chassis has a nice weight to it, so when this unit is in hand, it feels like a quality piece of live audio equipment to me. Being a passive system, it is plug and play.I would get another of these without question, and so I definitely do suggest it to others.

This is a nice little passive stereo ground lift box. It is a basic bit of kit for anyone who plugs sound gear into outlets where there are two or more grounds in the effect or rack loop. In my experience, it is always better to eliminate as much noise as possible (especially hum) before recording rather than after.I prefer to start with the box grounded, but if I get any hum, I try the lift and it will usually fix the issue. There have even been times where I'm getting what sound like ground loop hum from the building itself and this will often fix that, too.I tend not to use the -15db pad very much, but does work as described. All in all, this is a nice basic ground lift box and I can recommend it as such.

We have recently been dealing with a hum that comes through our PA system in our practice space, and it has slowly become worse in the winter months. Saw this item and realized, it was the solution. We are not rich, and the band room has a concrete slab floor. When we upgraded our mixer, we re-ran our snakes around the upper half of our walls and dropped them to the floor where our equipment connects. in so doing, we do have wires resting on concrete, which is causing interference to the amplifier. Adding this device made the hum go away. Attached the signal from the board to the inputs, Attached cables from the out to the Amplifier inputs. turned on the amp - hum. then flipped the lift switch, and hum be gone. perfect solution.

I've used various hum filters and eliminators. They don't always work, for it depends on the cause of the hum to begin with. This one is heavy duty and better than some others.

This isolation / direct-inject (DI) box is constructed well and has multiple input options.Inputs available are XLR-M, 1/4-inch TRS, and RCA. The XLR-M inputs are the dual input type that will also receive the TRS connectors. Output options are the same (but with discrete XLR-F and 1/4-inch TRS connectors). There is a ground lift switch and a 15dB pad switch. The case is metal and feels rugged. My only concern in a touring use case would be the two switches - they are long, skinny metal toggles that would likely not do well in a heavy use situation. Otherwise, this unit appears to be well constructed from quality materials. What could be better and what's missing: As noted above, the toggle switches concern me because of how they protrude. Sliding switches would have been a better option for this application. One thing missing from this is an input for 3.5mm TRS. There are adapters available to get from the 3.5mm to either of the three other options, but having that 3.5mm as a direct input option would make this an outstanding unit.

As a Professional Stage & Lighting Technician, Sound & Studio Engineer, Professional Audio-Visual Production Specialist and Musician I'm always running into situations where grounding issues often cause a hum or unwanted hiss, Studio Laptops generate a Pulsing Tone that interfere with the live production, long cable runs causing noise due to grounding issues, etc! Literally the list goes on and on!I recently had an issue where a laptop was plugged into a Video Mixer and the audio out from the video mixer was causing an annoying pulsing/beeping tone! I put this device between the audio out of the video mixer and the audio in of the audio mixing board and the problem was instantly resolved!!I had another instance where we were running 100ft XLR Runs from the Mic to the Sound Board and there was a clear hum through the main speakers! I put this device between one of the 100ft Mic Runs and the Sound board and the hum was eliminated! So far I've used it during two critical Audio Production Situations and the WisWinDA Pro Max2 solved the issues with no problem!I can say the audio quality and the Pro Max2's ability to resolve flawed audio issues in real time is excellent! Also, HATS OFF IN TERMS OF THE BUILD QUALITY OF THIS UNIT!! THIS UNIT IS AMAZING!! IT'S AN ALL METAL CHASSIS WITH A RUBBER PAD AT THE BOTTOM TO KEEP IT FROM SLIPPING OFF YOUR TECH DESK! THE UNIT HAS DUAL XLR/TRS INPUTS WHICH IS SUPER CONVENIENT!! THE TOGGLE SWITCHES ARE SOLID AND SECURE!! THE SELECTION OF RCA, TRS & XLR OUTPUTS ARE CONVENIENT AND WELL THOUGHT OUT AS WELL!Overall, I'm rating this unit 5 Stars simple because it works...and it works well!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍👍
