This is an excellent passive direct box. I use it to connect an emulator out on a guitar amp to the mixer. It ensures a safe level for the mixer with great sound quality. It can also be used for stereo or as two direct boxes.Construction is solid for this box to hold up on the road.

I wasn't familiar with the brand before, but this box looks and feels very much like a top of the line DI box.The sound is very clear on both channels. It features for both channels: line through (to amp), XLR out, -15dB pad, and a phase switch. There is a single ground lift switch for the entire unit. The construction is heavy and solid. If you plan to mount it to a pedal board, make sure you have strong velcro decals to attach it, otherwise it may fall off. Even the paint job is great quality.

I felt a little guilty buying this (it looks like something made in the same factory Radials are likely produced, just painted differently. But, I didn't want to spend $200.Suffice to say: it's dead quiet, it's a tank, and it works. The pads on the inputs are nice (I have an active bass that can sometimes be a little feisty, this tames it).Amusingly, I thought I'd received a dud, as I thought the 1/4" inputs were bad, they didn't seem to "seat" the cable. Turned out they're just very robust and you have to push the cable in a little harder than on most equipment.

This is crazy good, for the price. I generally use a Radial Stereo DI and was looking for a second one for another guitar pedalboard. Yes, I'm that stereo guitar guy...This is s a touch larger, but just as solid and has the extra option of phase reverse on the channels. Nice touch, for us guitar players that may have speaker cabs that are out of phase and record/capture from an Amp-Cab set up. They also have a similar one with BT, so check their options and definitely grab one!!

I'm using this to send a stereo guitar pedal setup into a mixing board across the room, with XLR cables snaked around and hugging the walls so as to not cross over everything else going on in my little home studio. I would have preferred to have my pedal boards closer to my interface, but arranging all my gear in a small space required compromises. Fortunately, this direct box alleviates that particular compromise. Using XLR cables reduces any issues of latency and capacitance that long 1/4" cables would introduce. As a nice bonus, the parallel outputs let me take the left channel and route it to an amp when I'm not recording into amp sims on my computer. Now I don't even have to trade cables or plug and unplug things when I just want to practice, not reconfigure my setup over and over again. The sound quality has been good, and I haven't had any issues.

The item reviewed is a Bolanle passive 2 Channel Instrument Direct Input Box with Direct Balanced to Unbalanced XLR. It has an Impedance Transformer Connector for Impedance Conversion and Isolation.I have a hybrid recording studio environment with many different analog instruments and mixing boards as well as a DAW with dozens of plug-ins. I have many DI boxes in use, but have found this 2 channel DI to be superb in fit and function. I have been very impressed with the performance, so much that I will be getting more of them.I can not afford the time to stop and troubleshoot noise or dropped/delayed signal chains, so when a piece of hardware delivers on seamless performance, its a win. I recommend this DI box.

Solid. I do not think think that you can dent the case even by driving a car over it.This is a true DI box, in stereo, with high-Z inputs (with pass-thru) and low-Z outputs, plus all the necessary padding, ground lifts, and phase swapping buttons. What else could you ask for?NOTE: the extreme care in board layout, and construction with truly impressive metal cans completely surrounding the impedance matching transformers. Wow! Kudos!Only 1 little area that needs improvement. The push buttons! Yes, they are labeled. However, it is not documented as to whether the function listed on the top cover is for the button position, in vs out! I had to figure it out by trial and error, then use a label maker to document it for everyone I work with. Even the documentation (pics 5-7) don't disclose these closely guarded secrets!

This is a very good passive direct box for recording guitar or other electric instruments directly into your DAW or live mixing board. Passive direct boxes (DIs) require no power source. It is built of sturdy metal and the switches and jacks all are solid. Four rubberized feet are on the bottom corners, so it doesn't slide. There are two 1/4 inch jacks, one for inputting your instrument; the other is a passthru so you can also send signal to an amplifier. The output is an XLR balanced jack. There are a number of buttons, including a phase button, a ground lift button to remove any hum or other ground interference, and a pad button which lowers your signal by -15 db if your signal is too hot for your board. I played guitar through it to a mixing board going to into my DAW, and the signal was clear and unaltered.
