We bought this box to use for our dj/karaoke business to connect my laptop to our amp. We were getting feedback and buzzing before we added the box. My husband hooked in the box and there was absolutely no buzzing or hissing. The extra feature of having the volume button on the box also helps to regulate the sound between the two devices. Well worth the price.

Used to sum a headphone out to a mono Avantone for alternate monitoring- works great

I got this to connect a Roland GO:Piano to a sound system ... that instrument inexplicably has only a 1/8” stereo output (odd for professional instruments but this model is targeted at student pianists, not gigging musicians). Anyway, the keyboard is a great fit for me otherwise (action, MIDI over Bluetooth) and this direct box gets it connected very cleanly to my stage equipment.

These are great little stereo summing DI boxes for taking any personal audio device with a 1/8 TRS output to sum the Left and the Right stereo feed into a mono XLR cable to get it into a pro audio system. The cheaper cable option usually drops the left or the right channel which isn't a big deal unless the particular recording has the correct panning when it was recorded. I have been given many personal recordings by clients to play at weddings / memorials or many other special events and what came out of the system was just a vocal or just a backing track.

Waited a long time to get one. Well worth the wait. Does everything I need it to do very well. I like small.
