It's a must-have if you’re using a Radar Detector in your car or truck. It connects the Radar Detector directly to the fuse box under the dashboard for power from the vehicle’s battery. Our Radar Detector hard wire kit frees up the 12-volt power socket (the cigarette lighter) for other uses. as the hidden wiring,it will make your car more neat.

Installation Steps:
Step 1: Connect the Red Wire of the Hardwire Kit with one type of Fuse Taps that your vehicle requires.
Step 2: Locate the Fuse Box and find an ACC Fuse Slot in it. ACC Fuse Slot only has power when the ignition is on.
Step 3: Remove the original Fuse in the ACC Fuse Slot and install it into the Bottom Slots of the Fuse Tap. Insert the same size of Fuse we provided into the Top Slots of the Fuse Tap.
Step 4: Connect the Red Wire of the Hardwire Kit to the positive terminal of the ACC Fuse Slot in the Fuse Box.
Step 5: Crimp the Black Wire and screw it down to any non-coated metal bolt/screw in your vehicle to ground it.
Step 6: Connect the RJ-11 "telephone style" jack of the Hardwire Kit to the RJ11 input of your Radar Detector, and then the installation is completed.
Warm Tips:
★For safety reasons, we strongly recommend that you do not use any fuse slot used by any of your vehicle's critical components, such as the Air Bags.
★ If you don't have experience on installing the hardwire kits for the Radar Detector, please ask professional for help.

Easy install and comes with everything needed. Universal fit is great. It hides away easily and I just tucked mine under the weather stripping along the door. No issues and seems to be performing great. Also very cheap compared to other options, so definitely well worth it

Worked perfect to hard wire my Escort Redline. Pair this with a good mirror stem mount and have a nice clean wire free install. Get rid of the dangling 12v cord that looks messy and is in the way. Cord was more than long enough for 2015 tundra.

The product comes with a variety of piggy back fuse connectors. Surely the one you need is there. There was plenty of wire to run from my fuse box to the upper center of the windshield.

Very nicely made product and well packaged. I worked in avionics for a lot of my life and checked the cable and verified that it worked with my Valentine One. I bought it for a new truck that I'm getting that doesn't have a 12v outlet close to the dash. I will also be getting one to install in my Volvo.

Quick Review:This is the perfect kit to hard wire my son's Uniden Radar.Extremely easy to install....Anyone can do this in under 30 minutes max. (if unsure, u tube has plenty of examples) Note that it must be installed in the right position relevant to 12V power...you will need a voltage meter to test which leg is hot.Includes absolutely everything you need except a wrench to unscrew a bolt for the ground wire.Plenty of length, even in a full size SUV.Can also use them in a spare fuse location if your fuse box has any...mine had 2 available. You do not have to tap an existing fuse, and this option is even better IMO. (you would then only use 1 fuse in the upper position as the spare doesn't need a fuse)Overall it's'a very nice all in one kit, and is worth every penny.

Giving less than 5 stars for this product would be incorrect. What an excellent item. It works very well, easy to install. Hiding the wires with the provided tool is a bonus. I highly recommend
