Pet proof screen replacement
Our spline matches the screen window, and its diameter is just right. At the same time, it is also suitable for most screen windows and screen doors. If your splines and your window screens don't match, you can buy more suitable splines at your local hardware store.
Notice:
The screen replacement is made of vinyl coated polyester, which is stronger and sturdier. The screen mesh is FOLDED in the package. You can tighten it as much as possible during installation, the crease will disappear after installed for a while.

The kit contained everything needed to rescreen. It was enough for me to do two regular sized windows. The screen quality is excellent - tough to trim as it's closer to being a wire mesh than being a screen, but that's exactly what I wanted. Only issue I had is that the screen comes folded - the instructions say to pull the screen tight and the folds would disappear, but that wasn't really true. No matter how tightly I pulled the screen while doing it, the folds still are showing, but they are not really noticeable once you put the screen back in-place.

Quality is not as good as advertised. Didn't want to waste my time and return. It's pretty good value though with all them items included. I should have know about the quality, considering how many items are provided.

I purchased this screen to replace the old ones I had that had dry rotten. They are a little bit darker than the ones I had up, but I like it because it brought put the color on my house. I do plan on purchasing more. They have been durable this far and easy to apply. I would like to see bigger sizes for full screen doors. This product is recommended, especially to keep the heavy duty bugs like, bees and wasp from entering or making holes in screens.

Good product. It’s a bit difficult to get it nice and taught with no wrinkles, etc. I imagine working with any brand would do this. The quality of the pieces in this product are good though. Not sure these would ever be an easy install just because of what it is.

I have a screen door on the room I house my foster cats with and they had destroyed the old screen. I had put sections of hardware cloth which looked sloppy, so I wanted to remove that and replace the whole screen.The kit comes with everything you need, including a sharp pair of scissors, and is relatively easy to use. I ran into some issues getting the spline to go into the door at certain parts of the frame, but I don’t know if that’s an issue with the product or the door. The size of screen provided was more than enough for the entire door. However, one cat quickly learned to pull the corner and undo the spline so I had to stable over it to hold it in place. He didn’t rip the screen at all, so I think it is pretty sturdy for pets in that sense, but he went for the corners where I was having trouble getting the spline to go in in the first place.

I have two pugs and they DESTROYED my screen door. I was going to buy a whole new door. I started Google searching and found a 5 minute video on YouTube about replacing screens. I went on a store site and started filling my cart with everything I’d need. I was at $50 and wasn’t done yet. I decided to take a gander on Amazon. You cannot beat this deal!!! It is a great value! For $16 and about 90 minutes, I was able to fix my screen door! It was rather easy to install and I stretched the screen and spline as I installed a side at a time. The creases are already disappearing because how I carefully stretched the screen tight. The screen is dark and definitely thick. The only issue I had was the red screen rolling tool. It’s not very ergonomic and after the extended period of use, I ended up with a huge blister on my index finger and thumb. Again, for $16, I’ll take the blisters- it was well worth it!

This screen worked out great! I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on new screens especially because I have cats and they would just be able to ruin them again. Pros: the directions were clear. Screen appears to be high quality. Resistant to cat scratching. Came with the roller and scissors. Cons: the rubber kept coming out and seems to not be thick enough to hold the thicker screen in its spot. I had to use some glue as I was worried that my cats would push it out and fall out of my second story window. I do wish the rubber was wider and or stiffer so that it would be strong enough to hold the thicker screen. It also would have been nice is the kit came with a razor so that the screen could be cut closer to the edge.For the money though its value is great. Next time I do plan to get it rolled. The creases still have not relaxed and it’s been about 1 week since it was installed.
