The QUWIN BBQ Gloves seem to offer excellent heat protection, but they are extremely thick and lack flexibility, making them difficult to use for regular grilling or cooking. Handling utensils, flipping meat, or grabbing smaller items feels clumsy, which kind of defeats the purpose of having gloves for precision work.They might be great for firefighters or extreme heat situations, but for BBQ or oven use, they’re just too bulky. If you need ultimate protection and don’t mind sacrificing dexterity, they could work. Otherwise, a thinner, more flexible glove would be a better choice. Decent for heat resistance, but not practical for everyday cooking.

These are the best replacements for your typically pot holders if you really want to have a tactile grip on what you are moving. I use these to pull my clay bell out of a 550° oven, they work great

I bought these gloves to transfer my pizza stone to my pellet smoker. The pizza stone was 525 degrees Fahrenheit. While I could feel my hands getting warm, it protected them while I carried the stone to the grill that was probably about 50 feet away. Recommend, but not for the temperatures of like 1000 degrees like the review I believe said.

I don't have good sensation in my fingers tips from the joint down to the tips. I cook quite a bit and was always burning my fingers. I found these grill gloves at a very reasonable cost and I have faithfully used them for getting things in and out of the oven. I am happy to say I haven't had a burn since I got them. I will use them on the grill outdoors next summer also. They are very comfortable and durable. Made with silicone material. They are easy on and easy off. Very functional. I leave them on to deal with hot lids when I need to stir the contents.

I love the fact that they come up my arm so far. I even bought a pair for the BBQ as the heat radiating from that wasn't doing my skin any favours. No heat felt through them. They do the job.

Purchased for indoor kitchen use.They're a little stiff when new, and because they're gloves with fingers, not mittens, they're necessarily snug-fitting, so like rubber gloves, you definitely don't want to try to put them on if your hands are wet!These gloves grip smooth objects very well, so you'll have confidence picking up hot items from your oven. Having said that...The cuffs are plenty long enough for normal use, but they're not forearm length, so with the confidence they give you, be sure not to reach too far into your oven: it would be too easy to burn your forearm(s). This is NOT a criticism of the product, it's a warning: they are so effective it's easy to go too far.My advice would be to have a pair of these, and also have a pair of equally grippy mittens, for the time when a quick on-and-off is called for... at least till you've worn the gloves in a little.Bottom line: very happy with these gloves, would buy again, and would recommend.
