Great idea however mine doesn’t work unless it’s in full sunlight, which means it doesn’t really do much in my used case your mileage may vary

The concept is good. The design is lacking. The gap for air to flow out is not very big. Plus, the fan only works when it has direct sunlight. I have not noticed any temperature difference since installing.

I put this “fan” in my dog’s house. The solar panel is large enough to absorb sun but the fan is the size of a half dollar. The air I use to blow out a birthday candle has more output than this minuscule fan. I, for one, do not think it is worth the price.

I wanted a solar fan to assist the updraft for my RV fridge vent, and I guessed after checking dimensions that this would work. As the photo's show, it fits well and almost looks like it was original equipment. Needed a 3.25" hole and a large o-ring and the job was done. If I did it again then I might install two, but one should help.Shame it didn't come with an o-ring or gasket, but otherwise all is good. Hope it will be reliable.

I just installed this so if anything changes I’ll post an update.But this a nice little fan for an 8’x6’ metal shed. I’m just storing non-mechanical yard equipment in this shed so come this Texas summer I’m sure you won’t be able to hang out in the shed and be cool. But just wanting some air circulation just to make it bearable in there. Started working today even with cloud cover. Would definitely buy again! Easy to install. Just traced an outline of the inside ring, cut it out, and fit right in. Did apply some caulk around the inside just to make it a little more water tight.
