Required Airflow(CFM)= Room Volume(cubic feet) × Air Changes per Hour(ACH)/ 60

For example, Room Volume= 20 ft × 15 ft × 10 ft= 3000 cubic feet, Required Airflow=3000 cubic feet × 4 ACH / 60= 200 CFM

Then you need to buy a 4" inline fan with 212 CFM
2. Is the air pressure related to the distance of the air supply?

Yes, the higher the air pressure, the farther the air supply distance. Hon&Guan EC motor 8 inch inline fan can reach up to 656pa.

This is a nice air filtration system. My Groton is actually outside with the heater on it, but I still have it doing this to keep the buildup of whatever could build up inside of there out lol it definitely moves air and I feel that my grow tent gets a nice circulation of air through it which keeps my plants healthy. The filter seems to be really nice so I would say if you were doing something that actually has aroma to it that you need to filter out the smell it seems like it would probably work well.

This is a great stand-alone setup for a single tent. Controller works the same way all the other ones do. then it's hands off. no worry, and no smells getting out. either.

This filtered fan works nice. I don't use it for growing but I do use it on my smoker and it works great. Very low noise and easy to use. Great price

I have been using this in my smaller indoor greenhouse that is set up for higher humidity plants to keep some airflow and prevent disease. It works okay, it was easy to set up. Not sure it's much better than a small fan, but it is quiet, so that is a plus.

This product would have received a 5-star rating would it work with the carbon filter in my growth tent.Initially, it worked as advertised for two days when the exhaust air volume was reduced to almost zero! Disconnecting the carbon filter from the quiet air exhaust fan restored the variable fan speed setting.
