I bought this product for my five year pitbull because I heard so many great things about it from the glowing reviews to dog trainers alike. Thank God the $16 investment paid off in the end!My pitbull is a puller. Going on walks with her used to be a pain in my buttocks. After trying out this product, I'm never going back to a traditional harness. Putting on the GL was difficult because my dog wasn't the biggest fan of having a GL on her face. After 20 minutes of trying to figure out how to attach the GL correctly, walking her around my apartment complex wasn't so horrifying. For one thing, she slowed down and walked with her leash a lot more smoothly than the past. Hopefully in the near future, I will continue to test out this product with more distractions like squirrels. Until then, this GL is worth the investment and I wouldn't mind buying it all over again!

Hard to put on, it seems to loosen on his nose. I have a large 100 lb American Staffordshire/Cattledog mix. It does seem to help a lot more than any other no pull coller/lead

Bought the Large collar, weight 80-130lbs for my 90 lb large dog. Awesome product, but I only had it 3 months and it broke.

This collar works GREAT! My 80 lb Stafordshire Terrier is great on a lease, but occasionally pulls and when he does my wife can't hold him back. With this collar you can hold him with the lease hanging over one finger and no pressure. Him will not put against it, yet it doesn't seem to cause any pain. He is perfectly happy with the collar as well and will sit and hold still while I put it on. (I only put it on when I'm going to walk him.). We are both happy campers.I read a couple of reviews complaining about the plastic clip that is used to adjust the part that goes around his muzzle. It does look a little fragile, but has held up to date. If it did break, I would order another one just like it immediately. It's that good.

I bought 2, one for each of my Golden Retrievers. They're very difficult to walk --- they pull, they lunge at every squirrel, cat or bird that comes into view, they sometimes attack other dogs for no reason, and they bark non-stop. I've tried all kinds of leashes, collars, training and socialization/desensitization, but they're so tough to walk that I usually leave them home. I was hoping this would be my solution! But they figured out how to pull the nose-piece off almost immediately. Doesn't matter how tight or loose I make it, they rip therm off, sometimes skinning their noses in the process. I think I'll only be able to walk them if I give them doggie-Xanax.

If you are looking for a miracle, here you go. I swear by this. I wish I could personally hug the person who is selling this product. I have a 2 yr old male pitbull mix about 80 pounds I rescued in January. I could never get him to not pull me (I'm 130 pounds, 5'3) until now. I put it on him and he doesn't love it but it works wonders. This is your answer guys. Thank you for this product. Also, it came within 3 days, seriously just 3! Also comes with a DVD on training with it and (just in case) comes with a return sticker in the package so you don't have to print one out on your own time. I love this thing, it made life a little easier for me and my pit.

This collar works well for my dog. I use it to prevent pulling on her necks hen I walk her, which is one of the reasons why it was designed. I have been using it for years. Like anything new, there is a bit of an adjustment period for both dog and owner. The collar comes with a CD that explains how to fasten it, and how to use it. It is very easy, and the CD is short and to the point. The only problem I have, if you want to call it one, is explaining that it is not a muzzle, and, no, my dog will not bite you. I find my dog easier to control with the collar; I think it helps direct her without tugging.

THe color stands out and this is one of the easier gentle leaders to put on. My dog doesn't seem to be bothered by it as much as he has others and sometimes doesn't even bother to try and slip it off his nose. Comes with a dvd instruction and use disc, which, if you or your dog have not used a gentle leader, should watch. It works when used properly and is a humane way to train your dog to work with you.
