I ordered the small for my 16-pound Alaskan Klee Kai. On the first walk I used it for him, he pawed at it, as to be expected. He was first able to slip out of it. So, I put it back on him and tightened it, ensuring to keep the V shape as the directions instructed. Within the next five minutes, he was able to break the locking mechanism on the clasp, rendering this useless. The instructions state not to adjust the clasp too much as it's fragile and prone to breaking. I expect more from the manufacturer as this product will likely take a beating from dogs not used to wearing a muzzle. I already threw away the box, so can't return it or exchange it for a new item. I do not recommend buying this item.

Bought one for my Border Collie when he was about 5 months old. Just 2 months later, the plastic parts came apart. It’s also too slim, which seemed to hurt his face, not what I expected. The collar just can’t handle the strength of a now 7-month-old medium-sized dog.

after getting used to it being on her muzzle, she walked perfectly without pulling, & there was a lot of slack in the leash

Taught my aggressive, pulling dog to walk calmly on leash. It took some training but he learned quickly. The clip that holds the nose loop at the correct size broke after a couple of months leaving the leader useless. I like the concept but would try a different brand to see if it's more durable.

If you have never tried a gentle leader and your dog pulls, try one right away! This one is small and fits my small dog nicely but seems a bit flimsy. Gentle leader changes everything about a walk! I don't know why no one had suggested this with my older dog who used to pull so badly. Save your arms, shoulders and buy one now.

Ottimo collare. L’ ho utilizzato qualche mese sotto consiglio dell’educatore che Ha seguito il mio cane.. L utilizzo di questo collare a cavezza ha reso più gestibili le uscite in passeggiata, senza far fare troppo casino al mio cane incontrando altri cani.. e ascoltando subito il richiamo associato ad un fermo no!

Unser Terrier zieht ganz gern mal an der Leine. mit dem Teil läuft er super kein Ziehen mehr und entspanntes Gassi gehen allerdings denken manche Leute es sei ein Maulkorb bis man es erklärt hat das bisschen unangenehm aber zu verkraften
