These 10 gallon coolers work very well as mash tons for five and ten gallon batches, as you will notice barely any temperature loss throughout your 1hr+ mash. Comes with a stainless ball valve cooler kit, upgraded leak free bulkhead and a 12 inch stainless steel false bottom. The barb size on the mash ton for the output is 1/2inch. All metal parts are stainless steel.

O rings do an inadequate job and don't seal well enough to prevent leaks. Otherwise, hardware is excellent.All-in-all: unusable without changing the orings for flat gaskets

The setup is solid and the quality of the hardware and valve are great. The real downside is that the O-rings are not sufficient for a competent seal. I was able to create my own flat seals which work perfectly.

Assembly was a little rough due to the bulkhead fitting leaking however lubing it up with a little keg lube seems to do the trick. As far as performance it works like a charm. Great deal

It works perfectly. I've used it twice with no temperature loss in a 60 minute mash at 152 degrees. Make sure you have some plumbing tape, though. My seal was leaking out of the box so I had to run to the hardware store. It set my schedule back a couple hours the first day.
