Button sticks and after 2 days the springs have started rusting. This wont last long.

No reason why this wouldn't work as long as you measure the hole and get the correct size that fits. Don't know how long the finish can be expected to last. Overall, not a bad replacement option for the price.

Unfortunately I can not speak to how well this works overall as a slight mismeasurement and misreading of mm to inches caused this to be to small to fix the issue with my toilet. However the quality of this feels very cheap compared to the broken piece I am replacing that came with the toilet. I know this is for a lower price point but I am more worried about parts of this breaking than the one I was trying to replace and currently help together with super glue.
