It was exactly what I needed and ordered. Good quality but as usual, Toto products seems more expensive than they should be.

So we bought the TOTO toilet and only after a year it started constantly running water. We thought it was the entire system in the tank that had to get replaced, which of course was discontinued by the manufacturer and I had a hard time finding a replacement. Once I found one it was $50!!! We decided to see if this would solve our problem prior to spending the $50, and it worked like a charm!!! I replaced it myself and the second it was put back on no more running water!!! So excited!!

You're buying this because your Toto toilet (Aquia II in this case) has a slow leak, perhaps fast enough that the valve chatters every 10 minutes to top up the tank. $8 for a small flat disk seems a bit of a ripoff. However, if you, like us live in a wet environment (it rains all winter in the US Northwest), you'll have mold. If you have mold, you'll need to use a chlorine product to control this. If you do that, you'll have another leaky valve. The purpose of this note is to double your money. If you replace this valve, you remove the plastic keeper and extract the disk valve. Chances are good that if you just flip the disc over, the valve will again seat fine. Mine did. I have two Toto Aquias. I bought 4 valves, expecting to insert two new ones and having a spare for both. I now have 9 spares; and can keep using Chlorox and 2000 flushese with impunity. Even if you don't want to save money, you'll now realize that you can turn your valve over and have a functioning water closet while you wait for your new valve to arrive from Amazon. You're Welcome!

Product thicker than original seal gasket. Simple to install:1) shut off water to toilet2) slide off the top water access line3) twist flush assembly counter clockwise and lift off4) flip over and replace gasket at bottom by removing lock washer5) install new gasket and reposition lock washer6) place flush assembly in flush hole and twist clockwise until it locks in place with water access access point lined up with the water line.7) reattach top water access line8) turn on water and flush to test if all works as original. Replace lid.Voila! Problem solved. Not sure how long new one will last until it starts to leak again....but it is a lot thicker.

The product is good but it doesn't fix my problem. My problem is fixed by THU224 for now. I will avoid Toto product in the future. All Toto replacement parts are very expensive and tech support promotes unnecessary parts. Here is my experience. A few weeks ago, I called Toto tech support for water leak in a toilet bowl, the agent kindly told me three part numbers to fix my problem. I double checked with the agent and he confirmed all three parts were needed in order to fix my problem. It would cost about $80 to buy all three parts. I searched online to to find lowest cost of parts and "how-to". After my own online research and took the chance to try this 9BU064E seal gasket first (because it's the most common cause of leak.) As 9BU064E didn't fix the leak, I tried the next possible failed part, THU224. THU224 fixes the leak but the agent didn't told me 9BU064E is included in the THU224. Why the agent told me to purchase an extra 9BU064E seal gasket is till puzzle me! If you wonder what the 3rd part number was provided by the agent, it was TS810DV2. According to my research, the failure of TS810DV2 should cause leak outside of toilet bowl not inside. Disclaimer: Since I'm not a toilet expert, maybe, TS810DV2 would case leak inside of toilet bowl.

My Toto toilet developed an annoying slow leak -- water continuously leaked into the toilet bowl, after the flush tank was filled. An inspection of my existing seal gasket showed that it was worn out and warped. I looked up the replacement gasket part number (replacement part numbers are listed under your Toto flush tank lid), and ordered this seal gasket from Amazon. The part arrived quickly and fit perfectly....and best of all....it fixed my leak. Before I looked into a solution to my problem, I called a plumber who quoted me a price of $160-$220 to fix the problem. This part cost me $4 and did the job perfectly -- how could I not be happy!
