I really like that these have adjustable buckles. They're pretty ready to put on, adjust, and take off, and I'm glad I'll feel protected and fully prepared for any snake encounters. I'll be wearing these over some bite proof boots for work in the field.

The straps on these don't stay tight and they don't get tight enough for women. All day long they just spin, leaving the front of your shoe unprotected and, ultimately, get in the way. Overall they protect your calves and if you had bigger calves they might stay put better but the straps are hard to use and don't stay secure. Disappointed.

I have a Prosthetic above the knee right leg. I wanted something to protect my prosthetic leg at the below the knee and in some cases above the knee around the thigh areas, I’ll use the same brand but thigh high guards. I wanted something thick yet easy to put on and off and protect from flying rocks and debris while weed eating. This is it and perfect. Goes on and wraps around and.hold in place with Velcro straps yet heavy enough to manuever. I also do some small game hunting and use this to protect against varmits, underbrush, rocks etc. Worth the money. Protects my $54k electronic prosthetic and me.
