So I had been looking for Gators and saw a number of different brands. Some of them had a strap underneath the shoe some of them had Velcro that you had to attach to your shoe, these are just simple You wrap it around you like you would a knee brace actually. I tried them today after I received them and I love them.I don't cinch up or move around I went hiking out where it's really dusty and it kept all the dust off of my shoes so that I didn't get gravel and dust in my shoes even kept the bottom part of my pants from getting all dusty dirty. I would totally recommend these and they were cheaper than all the other kinds that I've looked at easiest to use Love them.

Great tool for keeping dirt, snow, water to some extent, and even bugs off outa your shoes, socks or pants! Maybe it won't keep everything OFF depending how well it's wrapped around your trouser bottoms and shoe tops, but it'll be a LOT less! We have been using cloths and other materials to some extent for many years now, BUT this makes it all so much faster and easier to use!

I used them at The Great Sand dunes in Colorado and for the most part kept sand out of my shoes.I would recommend for this type of activity or hiking n such.

This is clearly indicated in the photo of this product but, I didn't notice it when I placed the order. Both gaiters are identical. What that means is that one will fasten on the outside of your leg and other will fasten on the inside of your leg. I would prefer they both fasten on the outside of my leg so that I don't brush against the fasteners when I walk. My ankles are quite a bit thinner than my calves so, it isn't much of an issue for me. It might be a bigger deal for someone with thicker ankles. The other thing about it is that it looks kind of goofy. Since I intend to just use these for practical purposes, I don't care. If, however, you are trying to put together a certain look or a costume or something, this issue might be a problem. The construction, materials and fit are all fine. The ones I received had obviously been a return. The tape on the inner package was unstuck and dirty plus, the gaiters themselves were dirty. I wish Amazon would be better about not reselling returned items at full price. It's gross receiving something that is dirty when you have paid full price. I feel cheated.

Really impressed with the quality of these gaiters. I wear barefoot shoes, which don't have an instep, so standard gaiters with a footstrap don't work so well. These wraparound gaiters are ideal, are well made, and so far seem to stay in place. They're comfortable, adjustable and robust. Would highly recommend them.

These are amazing. I had these as an idea in my head of what I needed. Something to go over the top of my boot to stop debris going in and irritating me, but still be breathable and comfortable. Imagine my surprise when that exact thing existed. These do exactly what I want then to do and allow me to strim whilst in shorts. They are so good that I now wear them almost all the time whilst working outdoors. I also take them on dog walks to stop grass seed going in my boots.They're very breathable and only slightly sweaty, not to the point being uncomfortable. Far from it.Very easy to put on and machine washable. I can't recommend them enough. I think I get more annoyed than some other people about getting rubbish in my shoe. I have to take them straight off and empty them. But these solve all that.They also appear well made and have good solid velcro on them. The stitching looks high quality.

I use these when cutting trees and around my sawmill while making lumber. They're easy to put on, comfortable, and do a good job at keeping sawdust out of your boots. I like that they do not have a strap that goes under your boot. Even though they don't, they do not ride up your leg. They're a little warm in the summer but it's a decent trade off for the durability.After wearing them for a month, I bought two more pairs so I always have them close. I leave a pair at the sawmill, one in my tractor, and one at the house for when I'm edging the grass around the driveway.

Easy & quick to put on. Complete coverage to prevent all grass seeds etc getting stuck down your shoes and irritating skin, slowing you down. protects shoe laces from becoming loosened by catching on low growing brush etc.

I use these gators to keep debris from falling down between my shoes and socks. Also great for woodturning as there's no way for the shavings to get around the neoprene edges. They are quite comfortable and easy to put on. I highly recommend this product if you want to keep stuff from falling into your footwear.

These are my go to for any trail and any heat. The bottom line is that they are not difficult to put on and don’t require a bunch of annoying hooks and buckles and buttons/zippers. Yes I even wear these with thin wool socks in 80 degree temps in the summer and they consistently keep my upper shoe dry. I also wear them in the winter to keep snow out of boots. They are so tough that they held up during an 8 hour bushwhacking hike (no trail) through the muddy thick woods of the Catskills. I kid you not, I stepped in mud up to ankle multiple times and I had no mud past my gaiter line. It won’t keep out water (unless just light rain, but sometimes you don’t want waterproof gaiters for breathable reasons. They do keep snow out (as long as it doesn’t melt). I put some nikwax on them and it boosted their performance and made them easier to clean. Unfortunately I lost these at a trail head yesterday after a hike and I am already back to buy another pair of short gaiters, (I already have the long version). Love this company!!!!

When using a chainsaw I'll get sawdust and chips on my socks and in my shoes. I've been looking for something that will keep the shoes and socks clean so I thought I'd try these.They fit over the shoes nicely and they are snug enough to let my jeans over the top. Another benefit is that they hold the laces securely which should help keep them tied.Due to the weather, I haven't been able to actually have them on when using the chainsaw, but I will update the review after I do. For now, they look promising.UPDATE: I had a chance to put these to use. I cut 5 dead trees down yesterday and had these over the tops of my shoes. They worked great- kept the sawdust out of the shoes and the socks clean. You can see in the picture after I removed one, how clean the sock and shoe are. An added benefit was that these cover the shoe laces so they didn't catch on anything and come undone.Very comfortable too. I forgot I had them on. Highly recommend.
