Whatcha gonna be now you nope ropes?!?!? This item is well made, and definitely adds some peace of mind when roaming the fields. I am in Rattlesnake country, and I know it's only a matter of time. Hopefully I'm wearing these when that time comes.Item is easily adjustable, and should fit most people.

I ordered these gaiters to wear while walking in the woods as protection from snake bites. They are exactly as pictured and described. They are sturdily constructed and appear to be very durable. They feel lighter and much more comfortable than I expected. They fit great and are easily adjusted. I would gladly purchase again and would recommend to anyone.

These gators are well made and go on easily. They are quite comfortable. After a few minutes I nearly forget I am wearing them. Of course, they have a use other than hunting - I use them when I am running the weed eater (when I'm wearing shorts and tennis shoes). They offer great protection from flying debris (but do little to stop fire ants!)

My youngest son wants to be a hunter. Me? No! I went hunting half a century ago and shot a rabbit. It screamed like a woman in terrible distress! That broke my heart, and cleaning the rabbit finished the job for me. But I support my son's hunting hopes by making sure he has the right tools for the job. We have lots of snakes out here in the sticks, and as soon as I saw these snake gaiters, I had to have them! They will protect my young son from snakebite, and that has been a real worry for me. Now I know that he will be adequately protected against snake hazards. That takes a LOAD off of my mind!

I have been doing a lot of off trail hiking and clearing for new trails in the SE and we have just come through copperhead season. Lots of snakes / nests and babies out. Though I have not been bitten, I know people who have been, all on lower legs and feet, so I was happy to see these "snake gaiters". These are sturdy, with some stiff plastic panels sewn in. While I would not call these snake bit proof (there are thin fabric areas between the panels), I will attest that these are better than other snake gaiters I've tried. I've worn these a couple of times now, and they are also great at protecting shins while moving through low brambles, which we also have in abundance.

These are lightweight and fairly unobtrusive. They give me a little more peace of mind when in the woods. I do wish they had a little more foot protection since many snake bites occur on the actual foot.
