Product Description

Klean-Strip Green Lacquer Thinner, 1 Quart, Green (QML170)

From the Manufacturer

Klean-Strip Lacquer Thinner is a high-solvency, medium-drying thinner for lacquer. Lacquer Thinner is also excellent for cleaning brushes and equipment immediately after use to keep them in their best condition. Not intended for sale or use in California. Our Klean-Strip solvents and thinners are mixed into wet paint, varnish, stain and other finishes to weaken consistency and thin them out. They're also great for clean up. Klean-Strip products are like elbow grease in a can. They're formulated for professional use to strip years of old paint, clean up heavy-duty spills, and give homes a second chance.

Received the product, and it works exactly as advertised! I used it to remove a 7-year-old decal sticker from my car, and it did the job perfectly—without damaging the paint. Very satisfied!

I have used this product to clean off dried glue and cleaning greasing tools and parts. It has also been usefulin cleaning motors with carbon and dirty gas motors.

I recently bought a house that had a sloppy paint job applied right before. I picked this up to take paint off of my stainless steel kitchen appliances which was a breeze with a microfiber cloth. I also used it to loosen up paint in some carpet by applying a bit of the paint thinner, scrubbing it with a microfiber cloth, and then sucking it all up with a Hoover steam cleaner. I am not sure this is the best approach to paint in carpet, but it actually worked perfectly. I would recommend that others first try something like that in a more inconspicuous spot in case the paint just spreads out and doesn’t come up. And more generally, do a bit of research about what substrate you are trying to remove paint from and whether lacquer thinner will damage it. Ultimately, it does what it should. It’s paint thinner and it thins paint. If you haven’t used paint thinner before and don’t know.. it will leave behind a scent for a few hours.

I use laquer thinner to quickly clean off and remove oil, paint, glue, grime, etc. It works great to quickly remove oil stains from concrete. Simply spray on the stain and quickly wipe away the oil stain with a shop rag. Does a great job of removing sticky glue residue on metal or glass. So many uses, i always keep a can around in my garage.
