This igniter was very easy to install and it fixed my no heat problem. It was getting down to low 40's in my bathroom. It is so nice to take a shower now that I have heat.

I have 40 year-old HVAC units on my roof, and only a few companies will go up there when we have an issue. Recently, the heat stopped working on one of the units. The HVAC company diagnosed it and determined the igniter was blown. They quoted me $1,600 to replace it! Once I climbed up there and took a look at the part, I knew if I could just find it on Amazon, I could probably save myself at least $1,550. So that’s what I did. This part was an exact replica of the old igniter, and fit perfectly in my HVAC unit. It only took about 10 minutes to swap out, and it fired right up.

Lasted four complete cycles then quit working.Update: After more troubleshooting my furnace, it turns out I had a bad ground connection at the control board, replaced the affected terminal, and now my furnaced is functioning fine. The ignitor/flame rod I bought from this vendor works fine, and I would recommend it.
