SPECIFICATIONS

The LH680014 LH680534 Furnace Flame Sensor monitors the burner to detect whether or not a flame is present. If the sensor does not detect a flame, it shuts the gas valve off, preventing raw gas from dumping into your home. Over time, a flame sensor may lose its ability to sense the flame, even when the flame is present.

Works with the following models:
Bryant & Carrier 330AAV, 330JAV, 333BAV, 333JAV, 398AAV, 58DHC, 58DXC, 58PAV, 58SSC, 58SXC, 58TUA and 58WAV

Replace parts number: LH680012, LH680014, LH33WZ511, LH33WZ515, and LH33WZ517

From what I have read, these sensors are the first part to fail on a furnace. Over a ten year period, they may need to be replaced two or three times. I suggest just replacing it before spending a couple hundred $ on a service call.
