I’ve had trouble with my flame sensor needing “cleaned” twice per heating season for several years starting when the furnace hit 5 years old, costing a $200 service visit each time. I finally had an honest furnace technician who showed me how to clean it myself. When my furnace acted up again I found this part and decided for the minimal cost I would just replace the old sensor that was giving me issues. I ran this part last winter (Dec-Apr heating season) and didn’t have any issues/cleaning required all season after install.
